My Partial First Harvest - Any Words of Wisdom?

So here is Doris, supposed to be Northern Lights #5, one of the two plants in my first grow. I'm going to let the other one go a few more weeks to ripen up, circumstances forced me to harvest this one today.

It came out to 96 grams wet, I'm water curing about 80 grams of it. Air curing a little to see the difference it will have with the sister plant thats going longer.

I used 2 fluorescent shop lights with about 4 CFL for two plants. Had about 8 CFL's on them during flower. It's a couple days over 8 weeks, if I could I would've let her go longer but like I said, it was the day of her reckoning.

Couple questions: What should I do with the trim leaves? small fan leaves?
What do you think my final yield will be dry with this weighing 96g?

Hope yall enjoy.

:leaf:PS, it felt like I had joined an exclusive society trimming away the leaves rippin a bowl as I sat there jamming out to the Pineapple Express soundtrack . Some may have noticed the one pic with the movie in back.

I'd be thrilled with 3/4 oz out of her. I'm hoping her sister will produce even more, its a little bigger.

Yea its alot earlier than I wanted, but like I said one had to go, so I went with the weaker of the two. They became pot bound also which I know stunted growth. I can't even list how much I learned from this first grow. Which helps explain why my next grow has gone so well so far. But it does give an uppity high, the early samples I pulled off and dried helped get my senior design project finished.

I wasn't sure how much leaf to trim off on the buds which is why there's so much there. I was trying to go off everything I've seen researching. So yea that weight is definitely exaggerated.

It might be the slow kid in the class that sits in the back, but I'm still proud of the kid.

good luck with the water curing, i'm also doing my very first grow. I didn't get a plant near as big as yours, but proud of it none the less! Can't wait to find out how the water curing goes, it's also the route i'm taking because it's just gonna be weed for myself, so i don't mind if it's got less smell and turns out a little darker.

maybe you shoulda used more lights on those. doesnt look like much for a big plant. plus u have a small pot to grow it in. but overall you gotta be glad with that for a first timer.
