My Personal Built Grow Box

Wow, that was pretty in depth. I have got one of those fans you speak of. I initially bought it for this project and cut one of my old electronic cords and tried to wire it up and could not get it working. So I improvised, I bought a small fan and put in the hole that I had cut out at the top. I guess I really need to show more pics but until I can try to operate my camera and take pictures that do not show upside down then I'll be going off words. Anyway I have a fan at the top and one of those fans you mention sitting off to the side as for one I cant plug it up and two I could not figure out how to mount it with the tools and supplies I had in my garage at that time. I could put it straight to the box but dont know what that would help. I will try to figure this picture thing out soon so you can see. Thx

you are going to be fighting the temps, i have a 36x36x18 plastic storage box i use. so far i had to cut a hole in the top back of it for the exhaust vent, i also use a fan to suck the air out. a hole on each side. and mounted one of those 4in high volocity fans from walmarts on 1 of the side holes with a box covering it and a carbon filter pad over the end of the box in the grow box. as well i use a 120mm pc fan that pushes 60-80cfm. i just got my temps down enough to run 3 cfls. i also had to the diy ac just scaled down to fit the pc fan. i use a small ice chest with a brick of ice in it, a 40-60gpm fountain pump to push the cold water to a coiled up peice of copper in front of the pc fan then back into the ice chest. my temps stay at exactly 78.7 inside the box and the humidity levels stay in the 39%- 43%. I HIGHLY SUGGEST TAPPING INTO THE AC DUCTING TO GET COLD AIR. or buy a window mounted ac unit and seal it up and run ducting to the box...

also for draining the res. go to lowes and out side in the garden area find the fountain pumps. the small ones like mine are 20 bucks also get like 20ft of 3/8id tubing. put the pump in the res. with a small hole for the tubing to come out. then just drain into somthing easier or run the tubing outside to drain when you need to..

Alright, I have a question, what materials did you use for that?
and wouldn't some sort of reflector thing [aluminum foil] be better?
i'm sorry I'm a noobie, and i just want to build my own grow box.
I'll say it's for my computer.

This is my first indoor grow as well so this is really my trial run, I now have two things going on inside this box. I am going to take some pictures (not upside down this time) and post them in my grow journal. But what i have going on now is one pot with soil with my biggest baby (hoping "she" will be a "SHE") and it is going good right now. Then I have one plant in the hydro which seems to be doing good but growing slower and may have nute burn or something else as the leaves are slightly yellow on the bottom. My main issue now is LIGHTS!!!!! Currently two CFL's both 65 watts with one red and one blue spectrums. I am trying to grow more plants so that if my other babies do turn out to be male I will not have so much time until I get another grow going but lighting is an issue now. I just do not want to go with HPS or MH because this is just a small personal stash grow and I do not want to spend that type of money for lights and then worry about the already existing heat problem. I will post so pics of where I am now in my grow journal. Check it out and let me know your input, I dont want any bashing for the lights I am using, I KNOW, they are not enough but more constructive critics.
