My Personal Trainwreck Discussion

I think this is what they mean by posting a link to discussion page. Oh well, can't hurt.

I'm going to find out how to add this back to my signature and am inviting everyone to let me know what you think. I've grown 16 plants since I've been on here (4/09) that were harvested, mostly in cabs. I've grown uncounted (as of now) males and had many stunts that took forever to even grow 5 inches in veg. A lot of mistakes were made (and still are, like forgetting if I added the 11 drops of food and added again, knowing better almost), but it's a very easy process if you're not in Stealth mode.

hit the signature link, looks like an all cfl grow and those things seem to get better and better with every one i see, my little brother tried telling me that like two years ago and i was like....dude, you cant grow weed with house lights...your dumb, and i was SO freaking WRONG!!!

Thanks for the nice words, Dick. She is by far the biggest one to date indoors that I've grown and it's because of the size of her pot and a lot more light than a cabinet could hold. She's the biggest of the three I put into flower on 10/16. I think the other two smaller ones could've went longer, but I was outta pot and well, it was there

I use CFLs because I am chickenshit with fire. If I had a bulb that was hot enough to heat a room, I'd never sleep and not only worry about a fire, but also my power bill.

We got about another 1/2 hour of cutting and I'm uploading pix and I'll post results on the main page.

what a teaser... cant wait to see her cut and curing, its like christmas morning at 8 pm thanks for the thread!!! i am very curious to know final weight off a cfl grow compared and i have experience with growing trainwreck. wow i feel like im waiting outside a delivery room...so exciting happy holidays and happier harvests. stay medicated.

Oh well, I have flowered Train wreck under three types of lighting to see what worked best.
T-5's/CFL's combo, Ceramic metal halide and High pressure sodium bulbs. The T5/cfl grow was the best stuff I ever grew as far as quality. Ceramic metal halide came in second and HPS came in thrid as far as quality. Yield was just the opposite, T5/cfl was about 200 watts and I got 2 oz's CMH was 400w and I got about 5 oz's and HPS 400w was like 6 oz's but the quality wasn't close to the t5/cfl grow.
