My PH has been off, how do i fix it?

So i've been having all sorts of problems with my plants and decided to upgrade the cheap PH meter i had and found out it was way off. I have some nutrient solution that tests 6.4 on my old PH meter and tests 5.8 on my new one. So that would mean i've been feeding 5.7-6.1 in Happy Frog / perlite mix this entire time which explains a lot. I need to water them tonight and i'm curious where i should go from here. Should i water them with correct ph pure water and if so what ph should i shoot for? If i test the runoff PH and it's way off should continue flushing them until it's the same as what i'm putting in?

i wouldnt give these values until flowers start to form
and on healthy plants with co2

in your case 10 000lux until the plant get healthier would be reasonable
it's 18/6 so it make a third more light time than in bloom
veg dont need much light intensity

Sorry for being the newbie I am but i have never heard of lowering light intensity to fix a ph problem. I always thought the more light the better they will grow at all stages. So much to learn ....

Oh wow i've always heard 40k for veg and 60k for flower from most of the guides out there

ph 5.7-6.1in veg is correct for soil, 6.5 better

i dont know where you see a ph problem, i only see a droopy pale plant

during veg, too much light on young plants will exhaust them and make them deficient

put light farther (150 micromoles.s, or around 10 000 lux) and feed with a solution of veg nutrient at ec 1.5 ph 6.5 until the runoff is the same ec/ph values of the feed

40k lux is for very big plants actively growing
the tops will be a 40 000lux, but the lower parts at something like 10 000 lux..

your plant is shocked by too much light and need more diffuse light to recover
when she will get healthy you will be able to increase intensity

okay great, thanks for the advice. that gives me somewhere to go from here. i will dim the lights when i feed them tonight! do you know when i should go about increasing the lux/ec? they just finished week 5 today and they have been in 3 gallons for about a week, will upgrade to 5 when they are ready. i have hard tap water (350ppm on 500 scale) and have been feeding them the seedling dosage of the entire mega crop line(mega crop, sweet candy, calmag, sea kelp) which comes out to around 680 ppm.

10 000lux for 2 weeks minimum

your water is ok, hard but ok

680ppm total (ec 1.3 with 500 scale) is not enough

give 1000ppm with big runoff every watering

i insist on big runoff

recover it for the next waterings
