my plant 4months old, and looking horrible

I live in souther cali, and recently the weather has been cloudy and rainy which hasnt been good for my plant, because i can only outdoor grow at the moment, due to lack of materials for indoor grow

below i attached some pictures, to show its progression. My friend who has studied about marijuana growing told me, my plant doesnt look healthy at all...yet its still growing

so bottom line, when will my plant start budding? is it even possible with the condition its in?

Also i heard you need to water your plant extra the weeks before it flowers

once again its been almost 4 months and growing>look at the pictures

ANY HELP WOULD GREATLY BE APPRECIATED, ITS STRESSING ME OUT :-(

yah, it doesn't look unhealthy to me either, just small for its age.. if you want to get it to flower, i would suggest bringing her in some of the time and putting her in complete darkness.. mj needs 12 hours of light and 12 hours of uninterupted darkness to start budding.. so just find out what time it starts to get light where you live, and figure out when she gets a full 12 hours of light, and at this time, bring her in everyday and put her somewhere that she can be in the dark..
as for watering and when and how much.. i just like to put a finger in the pots and if it feels dry about an inch or two down, she needs watering.. if its not dry, she's good to go a lil longer.. or you can learn to feel the weight of the plant when she is watered, and pick up the pot and feel how light or heavy it feels.. when it starts to feel light, water..
have you been givng her any kind of nutrients? she looks pretty healthy, so i think so.. but if not, you may want to look into some as they may help increase her size and all for you..

Its healthy but very small for 4 months. Ide think its probly rootbound. Not saying that's ur prob but they have been growing for 4mnths in that lil container. Give her a new pot and a dash of nitrgen

start over. You can grow a plant that size in about 3 weeks
but why?

all the other responses give me hope, i have nutrients for the plant.

thank you for all the help everyone, i think im gonna have hope in this plant and just give it most sunlight as possible

so when again should i be expected flowering or budding?

its barely been 4months, not even

do you not understand? its not gonna bud if you just give it as much light as possible, like other members said its gonna be spring soon so its just gonna veg if you keep it outside it needs a light/dark cycle of 12/12 to start flowering

lol if you really want it to "bud" go to wal-mart or homedepot grab 2-3 cfls and the outlet to socket's you should spend less then 10 and get home put your plant inside stick it in a cardboard box put it on 12/12(12 hours on 12 hours off) give it a 2-3 weeks till it gets used to its light schedule and starts "budin" and you should see it bud more and more from one day to another ;) until your crop is done

that plant looks like its had a hard life its pretty small for a 4 month old. good luck anyways.

everyone seems to have it nailed here haha. the light cycle is most likely the issue..

read a book, read these forums, you dont even need to spend a dollar, just put the plant in the closet or anything haha. do work

i'm far from an expert but i will input what i've learnt from reading(lots of it), ur plant looks really small for its age, but i wud say not all is lost. it looks healthy to me therefore no reason why you cant get some decent bud out of it. If i was you, i wud get a bigger pot and rehome her, trust me she will love you for it. Let het veg for another couple of weeks to get her used to the new pot nad develop new roots. you should see some improvements soon, trust me. if you have nutes, give it 1/4 to 1/2 strength of Grow nutes, gradually easing her to full strentgh, n show her some love in general. You will be surprised how good she will respond. Keep her on 18/6, that kud mean bringing her in for a few hours of artificial light, cfl's will work gr8 in veg n r cheap to buy and run. As for budding her, that would be up to you, keep in mind the plant will double or more in size depending on onditions, but as soon as you give her 12 hours light n 12 hours COMPLETE DARKNESS,(put her to sleepin a light tight closet 4 instance) you will see flowering growth in a week or so, (little white hairs, V looking) and just wait m8. This is wat i did wen given a dying plant at jus over a foot, got reading and did wat i jus advised you, my blueberry is now just under 4 feet and lookin gawjus. I wud up pics but its not an official grow as i was jus given the plant halfway through its life and badly damaged, so i'm jus learnig from her. Sorry for the essay but i hope this helps you out. gd luck n update if u can

thank you! finally a comment that isnt stupid and doesnt put me in a hopeless mood.

i will follow your advice. transplant my baby, get her some good lights from walmart and the right nutes and bingo maybe something will happen!! I have plenty of hope now, im not giving up on this plant

ur welcome m8. i think thats a gd idea, were theres a will theres a way. and dont forget, at least this is what i keep reading, this plant is a weed and can take a beating. i spent less than hundred pounds on a 600w light(i plan on growing when this plant finishes so thats why i got a 600w, so it flowers under a gd light) although i think a 250 wud b gd enough for one plant(someone correct if i'm giving bad advice) I got a cheap thermo/hygro, ph test kit(cheap) and vatalink nutes(look around, ask grow shop they usually helpfull) and thats it. after the tranplant the new light, i saw n improvement in days and i have never bn so excited in my life lol, even more so now she's flowering! Jus remember, you will gain a lot of experience with this plant if ur planning on growing in the future. Gd luck again and let us know what happens. dnt let ignorant ppl put u off. Happy growing and stay HIGH. Peace.
