so just cut the clone, tip in spring water, clone solution, rockwool. then let it sit?

ive tried cloning almost every way you can and rockwool is the only one ive personally had 100% success with. cut at a 45 degree angle and dip in your solution. i use a gel and also a powder. usually add powder to rockwool and water it in. if your using a solution you might want to soak some into the rockwool as well. i put my cubes in a dish or a plate or something like that and always keep a little bit of water in the bottom for the cubes to soak up. never had a problem this way and like i said i even did this under natural sun light and outdoors
