its 15" tall now,,,plan on switching to flowering next week...I only want the plant to be around 30-36" max at harvest...idk the strain its 1 of 2 females out of 5 bagseeds I started...vegged under 4' 4bulb t5...will flower with mars old style 300 led....the reason I never topped is because by the time I realized its really gonna double or triple before harvest,,,i didn't know where to top to or if I even still could...

From my understanding the little shoots are the easiest to clone. Good luck.

one more thing...would cutting clones, topping, n transplanting all be too much at once???
I'd say that this will be too much to do all at once. Try one at a time. I cannot seem to upload the pic on proper topping but you can google it and many examples will show. Or go on you tube and you can get a visual on proper technique.

side branching???so clone all the side branches and leave the top???
yep, that is 15 in tall right,it will be 3 1/2 to 4 ft tall after stretch that is a beauty for a single cola top,by toping side branches it will thicken up and catch the main cola and give you sevaral tops, girl will have main cola and side branching will fill like a bush, you will end up with a good yeild imho,if you get my picture of the plant it will be a thick ass bush with a middle finger sticking up

Its never too late to top, just make sure that the two new shoots created from topping have time to stretch out and open up. I normally top a few times during veg and the last one being 1 week before I flip. It normally takes my plants 5-7days to open up the 2 new shoots after topping depending on strain.

Some topping advice for your next run if you would like to do so...
-The first time I top is 3 days after transplant from cube. I just top the main branch.
-The second time I top, I wait 7-10 days and top every main and side branch that is coming up including the two new shoots from the first topping as long as they have grown enough to have new shoots available. So it would cause those two new tops to each create 2 more new tops for a total of 4. Depending on strain I would end up normally topping 3-6 branches.
-The third time I top I wait another 7-10 days from the second topping and do the exact same thing from the second time. I top every main and side branch that is coming up that will become a top cola when flowering.

Outdoor I top about every 10-14 days all the way through veg.

This way of topping creates a round bush with around 8-16 tops depending on strain and how fast your plants veg. I like doing it this way to create an even canopy so the light is equally away from every top. Instead of not topping where the main cola is the only one closest to the light and all the buds on all the other branches don't get as much light. I use 10 gallon pots and get my plants to around 24-36" (depending on strain) in 3-4 weeks before flipping.

This is just my opinion and personal experience that has gotten me the best and most uniform results.

i would top every third node on side branches and let it be,put some cheese cloth in bottom of pot you transplant in so bugs dont come in and runoff goes out,sit back and wait to jar that bitch
