My Plant Is A Retard

Growin' 4 new strains this time around. 3 are growing as they should (NLx BlueBerry/Mr Nice Guy/White Widow) the 4th is a friggin' retard,,, Purple Voodoo. It seem that it doesn't like light!!! It grows away from the light, turns it back on it, actually grows down!!! I've shimmed up the bucket almost 18" to get it near the NL height. And pulled the arms up to face the buds to the light, and it rejects the concept and grows away.

Here's a view of the shimming 3" of wood and a 2.2 gal bucket.


You can see that the buds are growing towards the camera away from the light


Lower branches that I didn't pull up off the bucket rim, growing down and away.


Here looking down on the bitch you can see the back of bud arms as they run down and pulled up heads turning down and away from the light.


Have you ever seen anything like this before??? I never have.
ps. setup. Hempy buckets under 2 400w CMH in one hood

Buds possably to heavy for the branches? Lol thats some weird shit. Purple voodoos good smoke but iv never seen shit like that b4. Still looks good to me

should have staked them up. or scrogged.

ur buds are getting heavy bro. grab some kinda yarn or soft line and tie them up. keep them supported.

It's happening to me , i think that the plants are fighting for the light and the ones leaning are not winning so they lean towards the reflection of light on the mylar. I had to switch positions to where the ones not recieving as much light were directly under and tied the buds up towards the light and they grew fine.. Or the buds could be too heavy lol..Just my 2 cents. Good Luck.

My son has been growin' this particular plant for several grows, he gave this thing to me without telling me about it's weirdness because he knew it would drive me nuts.
