my plant is not smelling

can anyone tell me if and why my plant isnt smelling , it is a 6 footer , healthy ,and outside . does it have to smell in order for it to be strong ?

could be bad genetics....
i have heard of this problem before but i also think that the plant wont have as much of a potent smell outdoors

You can't smell mine unless you put ure nose right up to them, they have good ventilation and descent genetics. I consider this a very good thing!

depending how far along it is, several plants wont start to stink until the 3rd or 4th week of flower.. some skunk strains stink 2 weeks from seed.. it just all depends on the plant.. being outdoors with good ventilation, i would think the smell would be minimal just because its getting aired out 24/7. some sativas i have seen don't stink ever rather have a bit of a fruity smell.. again i think it all depends on the strain.. skunk being the smelliest..

i am growing c99 and it is virtually scentless. Appearantly it is a strain that dosnt smell very strong.
