yea i use to work at radioshack they have cheap temp/hum meters wally world is da shit though but yea clay fiber breaths better than plastic, but heavy clay pots absorb moisture from da soil so that can b why it drys out fast

But how wet should it be? I mean the first couple inches of dirt are bone dry, but after that it's plenty moist...

how close are your lights try puting a inch or two of sum light bamboo rocks or or hydro. clay on the surface will help the top from drying out fast

yea brah u got 30$ ur more than good hydro. meters are the b****es u can find a stick in the ground ph tester for under 20 15bucs an depending on what kind of temp. meter u want they have ther. for out/in doors for 10 or less but a soil temp deal u can find a cheap all in one deal round 30bucs

at radio they sum times sale demos if u talk to the right person hell lil shit like that if we had to many or sumthg i gave shit away but walmart with ph/moisture testers you guys dont have hydo. stores gas pipe is alil high on hydro supplies most head shops are look for some on google in your area i found the best one in my area off google mapes
