my plants are like 4 months old and not very big.. helpp

There isn't much difference between hps or mh in veg or flower. Only differences are:

1. Lose some yield for better quality with an mh
2. HPS is only more popular cuz its cheaper and the bulbs keep their lumens better. you can use a hps for a year worth of grow. for an mh its half that.

wattage is really how tall your going to grow your plants. if your going to grow your plants taller than 24" than get a 600w. less go 400w. growing your plants taller than 24" with a 400w isn't economical unless you plan on trimming the bottoms of your plants cuz they arent going to get shit. a 400w is good up to a 3'x 3' area. get an air cooled hood and keep the reflector 6" from the canopy. TITS.

Seems like the plants get fuller blooming with a HPS ......

found a refurbished one for 89 bucks hopefull it works.. im gonna use both lights but the hps up top and the other kinda directing up from the bottom. probably going to have to increase the watering since they will be askign for more food i would imangine with 400w hps.. but ill see how it goes hopefull its here with innext week, my local hydro store waanted 290 for 400w and 200 for250w.. freakign stupid.. i should go in the business. that websights sells em for 130 buckks bran new awesome deal. but i got the refurbished for 100 shipped to the house! wish me luck. how long do you think once i get her up an running with the hps that i should switch to flower.. i would like them to get a little bigger beore i flower. if i dont i feel like if i flower them no will get like a half O off "12" collas. because ther so small... any ideas? thanks guys. and im in the middle of moving beging of feb so this shall be interesting. i have to take these things an hr and half away and set them up havent decided where yet but it should be tricky.


any ideas of transport i was gonna but them in garbage bags an tie them off then but them in a big storage bin. with the cover on top.

also is watering the best in daylight or sleep time? and transport better in daylight or darkness. for the plant. i would say light. wouldnt want to mess with the sleep time. as its supoosed to be total darkness. correct?
