my ratio of males to females

there are six plants 4 of them are female the other two havent shown sex yet. they are outside. thats just crazy that i got such good odds this time. they are just bagseed and actually when i was starting them i kept getting bad seeds and had to keep replanting now i have all 6 at different ages. in the end i used better seeds for the last two and they are the ones that havent shown. but seriously what are the odds of that 4 out of the 6 so far are female from bagseed
 
Just luck of the draw in my opinion. I've had Sannie's Madonna give me 3 females out of 13 plants. I've had Mosca's C99 give me 8 females out of 10 plants. Someone out there probably got the exact opposite making it average out, in a large sample, close to 50% male/50% female.
 
ussually the plants that don't show their sex till later
indicate that they are female.
the males show them selves a week before the females in
almost all cases.
again the strain has some playing in it too.
i think we had a late outdoor flowering season this year .
somehow.
it just feels like it came late.
 
last year my flower season didnt start till mid august it seems to be on track here. the other 2 plants are more indica and are a week or so behind the other four so im kinda excited cuz we are on the backside of outdoor season it only gets better from here
 
yeah if they're started later they may take longer to show. thats pretty sick tho. i want your other two to be fems. that would be just awesome
 
yeah the chances of them all being female is like near impossible. i would understand if i had fem seeds. but they just came from a bag of good smoke. but im guessing ill know by the end of this week the sex of the last two. it would be sweet if they are all female though. ill have variety if that happens
 
It works about 50/50 you got lucky this time, 3 cycles ago I had 6 males out of 7 plants. What can you do? cry? Then last cycle was 8 of 10 females so you just smile and know that it will all even out at one time or another. Good Luck with the finish.
 
it is weird all in all im like 5 years growing and ive never had better than 50/50 so to get it like this is a definate treat
 
Bagseeds can be fems.

If its indoor grown and a hermie pollinates the crop. You get fems in the buds.
 
I lucked out big time this year too. I got 7 out of 9 females at my first site. The 2nd site has all fem seeds so no worries there..
 
yea its just a nice treat for once. dont have to worry about pollen or anything really for that matter
