My roomies are paranoid about buying supplies online

I have found a killer deal on some equipment (mylar and a reflector), something that could save me about 50 dollars or so. But they are bitching and moaning about it getting delivered to the house. Going on about how it leaves a paper trail, and that we will start getting watched if I did it.

I'm half tempted to do it anyway, because I think they are just stupid. What do you guys think?

Have it sent to another house.. got another friend, family member or work place you can have boxes shipped to? They dont need to know what it is...

Secondly, its a fucking reflector. Do your roomies understand that many people do indoor grows with legal plants?? They use reflectors too.

Edit: if the dea looked into everyone who ordered reflectors there would be a TON of old ladies and mothers getting their doors kicked in.

You're not gonna get watched... but if its not YOUR house then you really should respect your roomates' wishes. It would seem that you have been outvoted.

Ordering supplies online is fine. If you have it sent to another house than you have a paper trail imo. People that know you now know you are ordering growing supplies.

No they aren't. Tons of indoor gardeners buy indoor growing supplies for plants other than Cannabis. In fact, MORE innocent gardeners buy the stuff than Cannabis growers.

Now this I agree with 100%. All it takes is one argument with one of the roomates to have the threat of ratting you out thrown in your face. You don't want something like that hanging over your head. Also, one day when your plants are in the midst of flowering, one of your roomates will get to jonesin' for some smoke and will go in there and snatch some bud before its ready. You'll get pissed off and there will be problems in the household. Its just not worth the trouble. Wait until you're in your own house.... and don't tell ANYBODY.

No, they are just stupid. They must seem to think the package is going go through DEA headquarters or something where they will see mylar and come bust us.

Either way, if I were you, I wouldn't do it against their wishes. You might get your ass kicked or thrown out. Even if that doesn't happen, its still not a cool thing to do. You all have a say in it and you have been outvoted fair and square. If you can't reason with them or maybe have the stuff shipped to a different address... then just forget about it. Thats my 2 cents.
