Long time reader first time poster. This is my second attempt, the first was just grown in the window of my loft and not sure the strand. Now with the help of rollitup i've begun a closet CFL grow like many others. I do plan on switching to HPS for flowering at witch time i think i might divide the closet (top/bottom) to have a vegg area and a flower area. Here are some pics of my first crop..

as far as lighting, i started with the standard 4 ft fluro's and then added 5 26watt CFL's and now have them all "Y" ed for a total of 10 plus the fluros. This weekend i'm building a new rack and will have 2 sets of fluros on each side for side vegg and then the cfl's on the top all mounted together on a movable rack.

I've been trying to get rid of the fungus knats with fruit and vegetable spray, but it seems they keep coming back. So today I picked up a fogger at the local hydro store to try to combat the knat problem. Will report back tomorrow.

here's my new light rack, it consist of 2 pair of 4' fluro's for the sides and the 12 26watt CFL on top, the front clip with the gold angles is removable for easy access. Let me know what you think. Also a pic of the predatory nematodes used to kill the fungus gnats larvae, worked so far.

So, I pulled the trigger and ordered my 400 watt HPS yesterday and also ordered 2- 4" in-line fans and 2- 6" in-line fans from home depot. this weekend I'll be constructing the flowering area (top half of closet). The lower part will be for vegging with the CFL and fluros with a 4" fan pulling in fresh outdoor air and a 4" fan sucking out air and the top will be for flowering with a 6" fan pulling in fresh air and a 6" fan attached to the HPS for pulling out the hot air.

Also, so far the predatory nematodes have done there job with the fungus gnats.

Plants are getting larger and i started LST on 3 of the 4. Will post pics soon.

Here are the pics of the new grow room setup. Basically divided the wardrobe closet in half and ran a 20 amp dedicated circuit and the fresh air is routed under the house and attached to a side vent outside so it brings in the cool fresh air, thus no need for co2 booster. I have more pics coming shortly.

Here is the finished product. My HPS gets here tomorrow, as far as nutes i haven't really fed them much but i will begin the flowering tomorrow and was wondering what is the best recommendation? Fox Farm? Molasses?

That's a sick ass setup! I'd like to see some more pics if you have them (I'm big on detail!) What are the vents I see at the upper right corner of each space? It looks like you can see light coming through the bottom one...
