lol I remember earlier in this thread, I took canopy temps from about 8 or 12 inches away from the bulb and it read 99.7 degrees...
HA!
well, now, I have the light 6.5"away from the bulb and the temp is only 87 degrees!!!
LOL is that not an efficient piece of GLASS???
now I pray for it not shattering... like I said . . tempered/heat resistant glass is 3 times the amount... and whenever I get $20 I'll make that order..
Everything is doing fine.. (I think and hope )
I've currently got 9 plants total (one more seedling popped up)
its a combination of 2 things 1 is salt build up 2 is the fact that as water is used up by the plants an evaporates the nutrient content does not lower so the ppm count rises..thats why adding fresh water to the system daily will keep this in check...peace az
thats what it is... you got a big plant...so it uses up lots of water...like i said just top off every day with plain ph'd water....you'll be golden....peace az
Tried tying her down just about an inch more on one of the main tops...
ANYWAY....
SHE SPLIT DOWN THE MIDDLE.
I'LL NEVER FORGET THAT RIPPING/TEARING SOUND...
like a f'n boy scout, I am always prepared. I had some white medical tape in my box right behind me and taped her up QUICK!!! 2 layers of tape later... she's ok...
my light just came on... brb

ok... she's lookig fine...
I've been pulling off very yellow leaves from her middle region... lol
I think it's ok, though.
2nd day of the GLASS...
gotta move my seedlings (which are fine also) under the HID...
plant #1 had 2 tiny hole in a leaf... saw some lil bug fly past.... I have 3 fly strips around. 1 in veg (where I saw it) and 3 in flower room.
ok. all 10 seedlings moved uder (to the side) of HID
she's still feeding, so I'll update with #'s in a bit...
