..and that works good for the flowering period, correct?i got it from the grocery store. i got the crosbys fancy molasses, blackstrap is mostly suggested any brand name as long as its unsulfered, no sulfer in it cause it could hurt the plant.. i just use a tea spoon per gallon stir it in really good every watering!!!
Great. Sunday once I get back from my little trip this weekend, I'll get it and apply it! I can't wait.yes thats correct any time is good really because mostly what it does is feed the microbes (beneficial fungus and bacteria) in the soil that breaks down the organic material for your plants to absorb made a big difference in mine first week even with my ph problem goin on!! try it out i bet you will see a big difference
i would hold off on cutting yet. how many weeks you in flower now?hey hey I haven't forgot about this blog and I got some more pictures. I've been adding molasses as well as a bit of a different nutrient and the plant seems to be doing great. It has a ton of hair, and overall for being my first female grow ever, I think it is fairly good. However, I feel like it would it be a bit better if the size of the future buds were fatter, but I'm thinking that the lack of proper lighting played a deciding role during the growth of the plant. Today I noticed that a rather large amount of the hairs in the plant had turned sort of brownish/orange and I believe that's a sign of "I'm almost ready". I really want to cut a bit of it and let it dry/cure, but I'm not sure if I should. That's why I'm turning to the gurus in this forum so I can get a hint about what to do next. How long should I wait until I start the cutting, cleaning and drying process? Should I snap a bit and give it a run? Anyway, I would really appreciate some input.
Sop green! those pictures of yours look just great!!! My girl is at about week 4 of the flowering period. How often were you watering your lady at that point?your girls are looking good though thats about what mine looked like at the end of week 4
i was watering roughly every 5 days and fertilizing every 2nd watering but useing molasses every watering 1 tsp per gallonSop green! those pictures of yours look just great!!! My girl is at about week 4 of the flowering period. How often were you watering your lady at that point?
Damn, I've been kind of lucky then because I've been watering once everyday, normally at night right before the lights turn off. I used Pure Blend Pro Grow, but I only used it once and it was a bit over 3 weeks ago. Other than that, molasses and water is all I've been adding.i just looked at your pics again and they are gonna be nice be careful you dont nute burn them i can see the tips starting brown up, how much and what kind of nutes are you using?
I really haven't thought about that at all. What would it be the best way to go about doing that. To tell you the truth I'm not that familiar with it, but from what I have read before it sounds like it might work well.sinec u only have 1 did u think about LST
That sounds extremely interesting. I'm going to do that today. This growing process just keeps getting more and more exciting. Thanks for the advice. I'll welcome more.yea it really does. youtube will show u the best. but ur basically goin down to about the 3rd branch and u want to tie the main stem with something like a zip tie or thin string and u wanna bend the plant so the colas that where in the middle of the plant become the top cola. then ur main cola will continue to grow vertically and now u will have multiple main colas at the top
i would leave her be dont wanna break her off best time to lst is when they are in veg and small when they are big its riskyAlright, so I tried to do some LST for the plant, but I'm scare that if I pull it too much it will bend the main stem in a way that it won't come back up or it will break or something. Anyway, do you think that I should pull the plant more, or should I leave it like that?
