Have you tried taking a little match box, lining it with sandpaper, then putting your seeds in and shaking it for a few minutes? It scuffs up the outer shell so it germinates and opens easier.

Also with the colder temp. it may need a heating pad or put in a warmer location to germinate.

Here's just a total random theory I have as of lately, I'm wondering if large op growers have started irradiating their weed in an effort to steriliz the seeds. I've heard of people having all kinds of weird mutations from bag seed lately and really low germination rates. Weird eh?

I dont know if the second response is plausible...these seeds came from Texas , the person where I got them, has had these seeds for a few years... a big ole tub of them...I think its due to the colder weather as back int he summer, I had no problems...

A.-i use a heating pad

B.-i put seed between napkins folded and cut to bottom of cup i then put about 1 inch of water into cup to soak it overnight with a cup on top for dark and humidity on heating pad

C.-next day i pour off water- hold cup to side till it stops dripping check to see if it split

D.-if split i put in a beer cup with wetted starter soil cover it with a baggie and a rubber band then to heating pad

F.-if not split i make sure its still damp cover and put back on heat till split- i have had splits at 5 hours and at 5 days

G.- i dont wait for no 1/4 to 1/2 inch tap root to grow -- as soon as it splits BAM to starter soil - i sometimes wait a day to see nub show

the cover with baggie creates like a green house --make sure you add heat, some use hot water heater ,some use cable box, some use to of refrig but gotta add heat-dont let it dry out-keep moist not soaked-as soon as seed breaks soil remove baggie-give light and mist - i use a flouresent at this point -i keep all on heating pad until transplant at 3 to 5 weeks -depending on vigor health and how it looks to me.

keep em green
