well the pictures are kinda vague..but honestly many things could be better but that aside, that looks like foil not mylar, watch out for hot spot due to the foil(sun burn) if you can get some matt white paint use that if not mylar, and if you must use foil wrinkle it up like crazy...is that a chicken heat lamp? kinda looks like one..maybe prop that fan up at the light instead and not so directly at the plant, good luck man!

i'd move that top light down a little bit, with cfls you can have them right on top of the plants and not burn em, ditch the foil use white paint like mamaape said or computer paper works too, make sure the fan is on low and happy growing

ok so i took down all the tinfoil and put up computer paper instead so the reflection wont burn the leaves... I also dropped the light down about 2 to 3 in and moved the fan so it was not directly facing the plant... ill post pics in a bit... any more help would be much appreciated thank you all

its in a plant light reflector is that bad should i put it in like the other one hanging up i put it on a pully system so it would be easy to pull up or drop down.

yeah, i would go with another of the clip on style like the one that you have hanging over the plant.. they work nicely and help spread the light out to help minimize any kind of hotspots that could be formed from too much light in one spot..

ok soo i changed the plug N grow light out with a cfl i dropped the light down more because it could be done and shut the other light off because the hanging light was blocking any light from the second light. i know i over watered it the last time i wont have to water for a little while now.... soo ill post a pic tell me if it's looking better thanks all.

everybody pretty much summed it up already...

is it just one plant?

if so, do this, get 3 of those clamp lights from walmart for 5 bux.... get 3 Y thingies from home depot (turn one socket into two) and three extenders.... if you don't know what these are read up the CFL guide in here...

then you can just buy 1 4 pack 26 watt daylight, one 4 pack 26 watt soft white...

then just keep 4 daylights and 2 softwhites for veg, and 4 softwhites and 2 daylights for flower.... that will grow you a nice plant....

Wow, A for effort buddy but it takes a little more of an investment in time and resources than this to grow the ganj.

At this point I'd say you're putting yourself in a very precarious position as a grower, and if the reward is equal to or greater than the risk it's all worth it. But unless you're a card holder in a MMJ state and you're just experimenting for the hell of it, I'd say put this thing on hold till you have some better resources.

Or, drop a couple duckets on an HID light, fan, and grow tent! Best of luck

well im going to my nearest HD tomarrow and picking some stuff up to perk this room up a little bit im going to get 2 y sockets and have 2 day light cfl's and 1 soft or warm white bulb hanging over her... i was also thinking about transplanting her into some better soil to marrow any thoughts about this good or bad idea.. i just dont like the soil it is in it has bad drainage puddles too easily when watering time comes

ok just got back from HD and i transplanted my plant into new MG organic potting soil i got 2 cfl daylight bulbs and a y socket took the lid off of my hanging light the two cfls would fit in there with the y socket. i was a little disappointed doing that because i new a lot of light wouldn't be forced down any more but i just added some more printer paper... anyone see anything wrong with the set up...

ok i updated the grow space, well i actually moved it all completely. it's in a smaller area but it will trap heat/light more which is a good thing. It is a little more concealed as well.

why go cheapo on the dirt. Fill up the pot. Dirt is...well...dirt cheap. You need a place for the roots or you'll stunt the growth of plant and buds. That requires transplant. The sooner you do it, the better.

If you topped it already, that was too soon.

good luck man.
