My setup/Input appreciated

I have approx 85 cubic feet of space. 4x4.5x4.6 I am planning on using one 600 watt HPS light and not sure about what light for veg state yet. Maybe a combo ballast? I am using orca covered walls. It will have a vortex 4" 170cfm exhaust running through appox 10' of 3" flex duct out to roof. I have a 8" duct that feeds in at bottom of grow room from outside and inside air (mixed). I will put a carbon filter on (phresh) I am going to do a vertical drop for light without cool tube or hood to get maximum height for light when needed. I will put filtered fan close to light up high. I will have one oscillating fan. Probably do 18/6 lighting for 4-5 weeks max and then to flower. I am now looking at 3-4 plants. What do you think about this set up? thank you.
 
In my honest opinion a 4" isn't enough. I run a 4" inline with a 400w and it's hardly enough to keep things cool. If you have a digital ballast you can use both HPS and MH lamps. I would go with a MH for veg.
 
I grow in 43 cubic feet, 20 inch deep x 4 feet wide x 6 feet tall, and I use a 4 inch 180 cfm vortex fan which maintains negative pressure. In my opinion 85 cubic feet is way to large of a space for a 4 inch 180 cfm fan, especially if you intend to use it to cool your light and pull through a filter. A 6 inch fan with a cfm of over 350 is what you need for that space. Definitely go with a combo HPS/MH digital ballast and air cooled hood, it helps greatly to keep temps down. I have always used lumatek and recommend their ballasts.

Thank you both for the input. I am "stuck with a 3" x10' long exhaust pipe. THAT is my challenge. I have no other way of exhaust. I guess I though a 4" inline fan is the most compatible with a 3" exhaust duct. Could I use a 6" 440 cfm inline fan to exhaust through a 3" exhaust? I know it would create some back pressure and more wear on fan but if it will last 3 or 4 years and still get CFM to maybe 250 through there, I would consider buying one. What say ye?
 
If you go with 6" inline through 3" ducting just be sure to get the tapered reducer. It gradually reduces to a 3" instead of straight 6"-to-3" ... I have a TV cabinet with a 400w mh/hps running. 4" intake duct booster and 6" exhaust booster. All boosters. But without my ac running on same time as lights my temps would be out of control.
