My Solo cup challenge grow.

So since I started growing last year, I am ready to try this challenge. I know I'm late but I can do it now thanks to legalization.

I'm running 3 White Widow Autos from ILGM from same seed batch they sent me. Using Happy Frog soil that I added Grade 3 perlite too.

Each cup will be given a different fertilizer regimen.

Solo Cup 1 will get DynaGro Grow, Bloom and Silica.

Solo Cup 2 will get Alaskan Fish Fertilzer 5-1-1 and their MorBloom 0-10-10.

Solo Cup 3 will get Element Nutrients line of Myco+ , Complete Crop 9-5-15 and Flower Fuel 1-34-32

I will take time this weekend calculating the amounts of each fertilizer to make based on autoflowers reduced nutrient demands and I'll be using the 16.9 oz Deer Park water to make smaller amounts to use when watering.

I picked 3 White Widow Auto seeds of similar size from the batch I bought last year.

I watered and planted the seeds today and placed humidity domes cut from soda bottles. Put on the kitchen windowsill where the sun hits for at least 4 hrs in the morning. Nice and warm in there too. Perfect for seedlings.

I hope everyone enjoys this and feel free to join in the challenge if you feel like just growing some Solo Cup dank.

So far now this is how the White Widow autos look. Running both Grow and Bloom switches 110w Giixer in a Frog terrarium that I taped foil all around. Light is putting out 210 par per my par meter at canopy. I have a tower fan blowing fresh cool air into the side screen opening also its helping keep Temps in good range.

The middle one was similar looking to one in my first grow last year. Seemed stunted, first serrated set was weird looking like it's missing half the leaves. Grows very slow tiny leaves.
That one ended up being a ruderalis phenotype with only 2 branches off the main stem. Like a 3 pronged pitchfork. Also the stem is purple like the other one was.

I expect this to be the same phenotype.

The other 2 probably the xmas tree shape.

Just used the nutrients today at 1/4 strength.
Made 1 gal batches of DynaGro and Element Nutrients nutes.

Alaskan Fish Fertilzer used 1ml in a 16.9oz Deer Park water bottle.

Only watered till some come out the bottom.

21 days since germination.
All the girls showing preflowers.
Stretch is incoming.
I'm watering with 1/4 strength of each nute lines grow and bloom now. Will go up to 1/2 strength in a couple weeks. Have to water them every other day at the moment.

Sorry haven't updated in a month. Between work and keeping up with the bigger grow been busy.
Week 5 of flower now. Sunny 5 to 6 hrs in kitchen window.

The DynaGro plant I consider to be the best all around. The buds have lavender hues with fiery orange pistils. Less branching but the buds are bigger. Although she was the first to go into flower stretch.

The Element Nutrients plant started off behind in growth and heigth but finally took off in stretch. Shes the tallest, has more branches and bud sites. So far the buds are not impressive. There are lots of buds popping up all over. Very tiny but time will tell if they plump up.

The Alaskan Fish grow is definitely difficult to gauge how much and how often to feed. There's really no feeding schedule from the company in regards to cannabis. The emulsion is part available immediately and slow release Nitrogen and the Morbloom is both PK available immediately. I have been basing feeding off of ppms and stage of growth in comparison to other soil feeding schedules and strength for autoflowers. I also had to give a shot of CalMag due to brown spots so those 2 nutes must not have enough micronutrients. The soil used in all 3 was Black Gold. So not preloaded with any nutrients.
The other issue is she is a ruderalis pheno. Short candlestick with 2 lower smaller branches. So comparing the Nutrients to the other 2 is not easy.
Based on her so far the buds are getting bigger than the Element Nutrients one. But again the size difference comes into play.

So I decided to trash the 2 that had tiny buds and the other one I trimmed some of the bud that seems to be smoke able. The buds were done no white hairs and trichs were milky.

The cool part is the white widow buds are purple, green with orange hairs. Looks nice. Very sticky and has a minty pine smell.

Did you watch the ph of your nutes mix? In particular the Alaska fish and more bloom.
I used them before and found them to be very acidic. What ratio of water to nutes did you use?

Yeah I pH all my nute water solutions. My tap water is 8.4pH at 200ppm. It comes from the Shenandoah river here in Virginia.
So 1 gal of the Morbloom using 15ml and 5ml of their Emulsion or Grow Big from Fox Farm makes it like 1400-1600ppms.
Thats what I was feeding my girls in my grow tent.

Those buds from the solo cup above are from the Dynagro solo cup.

I didnt really use a ratio. I go by ppms depending on what week of each phase.
Then I watch the plants and adjust up or down. I dont need to use any ferts in Veg because I make
homemade soil from scratch and add rock dusts, lime, 1cup of Dr Earth for the humic, myco and bacteria, and organic ferts like crab meal, neem seed meal, shrimp meal, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, fishbone meal.

Current Grow I added N Bat Guano and P Seabird/BatGuano
So I just watered with molasses to feed the microbes that feed the plant.

I use Potassium Bicarbonate to pH up that acidic Fish Fertilzer or any other acidic nutes. Just a little bit moves it up real good. Plus it gives more Potassium
