My spur of the moment grow

I harvested the top of my Pure Kush since it had a lot of amber trichomes. The lower popcorn buds I left on the plant and put it back in the tent. Since I didn't do any pruning or training I have a lot of lower growth on the plants that didn't get much light. I'm wondering if I just harvest the top can the popcorn buds bulk up before too many trichomes turn amber. Some of the lower trichomes were still clear, but there were a lot of cloudy. I'm not in any particular hurry to harvest since I'm trying to veg my clones another 4 weeks before flipping them to flower, so I have time. I transplanted 5 of my clones the day before and LST'd my clones yesterday. The branches are already turning towards the light. I started a new journal on the clones, so I won't be updating them much here, just noting that since I just started training I have time before I will put them in the flower tent.

So I did a light trim on the buds I harvested. I'll go back after they dry and really manicure it. I made a drying box but I need a bigger box and would rather use one of those computer fans so I'm going to re-do it. This will work for now tho. I also have a little hygrometer stuck up to the side of the box, like one of the aquarium ones. I haven't been monitoring temps tho which I need to. This was something I threw together yesterday because I broke that lower branch. It's shrunk up alot, but still looks like it's going to be some good smoke.

Some developments... It was the BOG Lifestar that was the hermie. Don't know if it was one or both since I harvested the tops and am just seeing the busted pollen sacs as the bud dries and exposes them. So since I have 5 BOG LifeStar clones I freaked out. Am I growing hermie plants?!?! I had a heck of a challenge this grow doing things my way versus the way my boyfriend wanted them. He doesn't grow shit or smoke weed... So why he thinks he knows better than me or feels things need to look "nice" is beyond me. I had black garbage bags in the window blocking out the light. He decided this looked tacky and hammer and nailed a black curtain up instead. Only problem is lets say my window is 18x20 he took a 15x17 curtain and hung it up and the half of the window exposed is the part of the window that sits behind a vent I leave open for ventilation. So when the sun rose in the morning hours before the lights were due to come on I suspect there was light being shed into the tent. I'm beyond pissed when I think about the money, time, and effort and everything was going great until he showed up. I will still see what happens when I grow the seeds. All research seems to point to future hermie plants but I'm still hopeful. If they happened to be female I wouldn't need to buy seeds for years, that's as long as I didn't want any variety (I'm sure I will, just quantifying how many seeds I've collected so far). I had only harvested the top buds and put the bottom half back in the tent, but 500 more seeds later, the plants are just growing more seeds no more bud really. So I will prolly chop everything down, clean my tent, check for light leaks, and finish vegging my clones in the tent under the MH light instead of CFLs. I have always hated that the flaps for my tent vents were on the inside of the tent and needed to be pinned to stay up. So I don't take the time to close the vents every nite. I will prolly have to make my own cover for the vent on the outside with some dark black fabric and velcro strips. Should have done this a long time ago but hopefully this will be a mistake made only once. And I told my boyfriend his lifeguard won't be able to swim in my pool if he doesn't leave stuff alone! He's apologetic but that's not enough right now.
