Ok so i'm still having plant problems.

I have been changing the water every week.
Nutrients are accurately measured for small plants.
PH is at 6.2
Lighting is about 4" from the plant.

So with all that said i still don't know whats wrong with my plant. I'm thinking it could be a magnesium deficiency. Here are some pictures, please comment, i need advice. Thank you.

What is the temperature of the water?

Temperature of the area around the plants?

It is one of the following:

Overfeeding
Temperature of room or water
Lights too close

It is not a magnisium shortage.

The temp around the plant is about 71F and the temp of the water is 67

Then IT is LIGHTS TOO CLOSE

OR

OVER FEEDING.

any chance you have a cat? Cats will screw up a pot plant.
LMAO!!!!! are you serious i have a cat! Why does that mess up your grow? I mean she can't eat it because it's in a case.

Also i'm growing with 2, 65watt CFLs. I don't think they can generate enough heat to burn cannabis plants that are 4" under it. It is probably a nutrient burn which is kinda of funny because i did Exactly what it said on the bottle (1 tsp to every 1 gallon).

65 watt CFLs can be two inches colse, so it it not the lights.
I've been on this site almost three years and I've read a lot of posts with plant problems. When it is not HEAT, LIGHTS, OVER FEEDING, Low Humidty, or TEMPS, it is the cat.

In a case? Are you sure it is 71 degrees inside that case?

Off subject I have a question, I got this hydro kit and it came with soilless substrate and a small bag that looks like soil balls with holes in them. I know its were you put the seeds when they sprout, but how does it actually work? Any answers?

You're hi-jacking this man's thread, and you need to start one with your questions. How to POST, start a thread

Most kits come with Hydroton Cubes, looks like red balls of clay with little holes in them, and they are for surrounding the rockwool cube. Seed goes in the cube, not the rocks. Did you get any instructions?

I did a second reading for ya roseman.

When the lights are off it is 71 degrees.

When the lights are on it is 78 degrees.

With that being said it has to be the nutrients i have just changed the nutes with half of what i was using before and we shall see how that works out. I just hope i didn't stun my plants growth. I hope to god this problem gets resolved soon. I don't have anymore seeds to start a new strain and i feel like all of these internet buying sites are way to sketchy. I will keep you all who are subscribe to this thread posted with pictures as to how my plant turns out. Thank you for all of you helpful information and time.

I have a question that just dawned upon me. Could the reason my plants are experiencing this because there isn't enough nutrients? I have a 1 gallon res. With that being said, should I be changing the res water more often? (I hate being a total newb at this...)

if you r using hydro you r supposed to change every week or 2.Im quite sure your plants are not drinking up a gallon within a week yet but later on it might become a problem. The yellow on the leaves looks like a nut deficiency definately.More n in the n-p-k.(it looks like a nitrogen def)

I see you changed from the peat moss to the pellets...will there be any significant changes in growth using that? Just wondering myself because soil choices are so important!!

Love your set up and will try something very similar for my own

Yes I did. I think the clay pellets are working way better than the peat moss only because there is less water retention and no fungus development.

If you think it is a Nutrient deficiency i am using Earth Juice Grow 2-1-1 only. Should i be mixing it stronger? (i'm a newb to the whole nute thing)

u should check up on some superthrive.it probably can fix the plants problem
I would but my plant is pretty much dead now one of the leaves it completely crippled. I'm going to start from scratch as soon as i can get my hands on some more seeds.

I just want to thank everyone for their time and support in the past month. I'm going to get more stain and start from scratch. I'm going to do better research with my nutrients and do it the right way.

Thanx again you all were great help. :-)

Peace!

Could be that you started using nutes too soon. I did the same thing and started to get some burn, changed it to fresh water and they are fine.
