My thoughts on color.

i'm just chillin here and i read an article about colors.
and the question came to me..
try to describe a color, without using the color in the description a bit difficult other than dark/light, bright/dull...
colors are amazing.

Describing color is easy, just look to nature my friend.

Red: Any of a group of colors that may vary in lightness and saturation and whose hue resembles that of blood

Blue: Any of a group of colors that may vary in lightness and saturation, whose hue is that of a clear daytime sky.

Yellow: Any of a group of colors of a hue resembling that of ripe lemons and varying in lightness and saturation.

I like the color of money.

you all aren't getting my question or perhaps i wasn't specific enough probably the latter of the two..
anyhow, what i mean't was describe a color using adjectives without simply comparin to another object of the same color..
Is that really DESCRIBING the actually COLOR?
NO, so give it a shot now..
we can all say yellow is the same color as a lemon blahblah
but try describing the actual color.
think about tryinhg to describe to a person who sees everything in black and white comparing to a lemon or naming an object of that color won't do much now.
afterall describing the actual color yellow by saying that it looks like a lemon isn't a very good description it's simply a comparison..
not so easy now..
yellow can maybe be described as bright and idk what else...

Brother, you can't describe something without an adjective or comparison.

Even without using comparisons to a likeness you still need an adjective to quantify what you're feeling.

red - hot and barren

blue - cold and lonely

yellow - warm and inviting

i totally agree
that's the point that i was trying
sort of an exercise of appreciation
i did it, and i realized just how amazing colors really are
idk, may sound stupid but
i think it pays to sit back and appreciate the simpler things

When did I say don't use objectives?
that's what i was couraging, i didn't want comparisons

all i know is that earth is a crazy planet, full of crazy things.....

compared to life on all the other planets we know about, earth is such a gift from God/ amazing place to be.

but yeah colors are colors man, who cares how you describe them.

but if i had to pick a fav color itd be purple or light green covered in white.....the colors of my favorite plants

i will agree with you on everything except
less acid, acid has it's place
it can be a great tool to reexamine
weed is great to stimulate and relax but not strong enough to do deep examination in my opinion
well at least acid is cheaper, stronger, lasts longer
acid is good to do everyone once in a while while weed is the daily
