My "undercover" cfl grow! Coming along ok?

Ok... so since I've got two threads going with basically the same people viewing/posting, I'm just going to try to turn it into ONE! :lol:

Here's an update of the new, bigger, better "stealth grow box" and the plant itself. Oh, did I mention it's all in pictures? ;-)

First lets start with the new grow box....

Undercover operation....


Wait a second... that's just a dresser!


I wonder why none of the drawers open except the third from the bottom?! AH HA!!!!


Well, what is this light shining from the back?? Oh, input and output fans... must be something that needs constant fresh air in here...


Wait a second, is this a hinge?? The TOP OPENS UP!!!


As you can see, there's a "pulley and notch" system for raising the lights...


Another.... look closely and you'll see what I'm saying!


Now on with the plant...

The size compared to my hand, I LOVE how bushy it's staying... kinda odd since the CFL's aren't extremely close, I thought they tend to "reach"


Looking for sexing, that's all...

Just the plant doing it's thing.... growing! Can I cut off that stupid dead leaf on the bottom left side? Or will I hurt something?

Ok ladies and gentlemen, time for a 35 day update from germination!! I have started lst'n and its coming along nicely, I think I MAY have a bug problem though because ill go to sleep and all my new leaves will be dark green and healthy looking.... well, when I check in the morning there is sometimes SMALL holes in the leaves with a tad of yellow. I actually even saw a tiny, black "tick looking" bug crawling around the grow box! Even though that particular bastard got "got" I don't want anything enjoying my plant but me and my wifey (and possibly my Pitbull every now and then!) You can see what I'm talking about in the pictures I've posted below; does anyone have any recommendations on ridding of bugs if that's what this is. Its not every leaf or EVERYWHERE but i don't want a small problem to turn into a cannibus eating animal! Its def not nute burn either because she only recieves the nutes once a week. I have to water regularly though because with an 85 degree temp, 50% humidity and around 20k in lumens this soil dries QUICK! Here are some photos.... (sorry if anything is spelt incorrectly or out of wack on this post, laptop is in repair and I'm having to use my smartphone, which btw is usually dumb)!









I love how the LST'n is working out, just the way it should! And that last picture is of a new batch of seeds I germinated and planted.... that's the only one that seems like its going to surface or do anything though! Sooooooo.... thoughts? Comments? :eyesmoke:

Where would I purchase such an oil? And where do I put it? The box, spray on the plant, a cup inside the box, etc??....

neem oil can be bought at most pet store or hydroshops. you water with it and spray it on the leafs. also putting a layer of sand ontop of your dirt keep bugs from laying ggs in your soil

So just spraying the Neem Oil on the leaves and covering the top of my soil with a thin layer of sand will kill/keep bugs away? No dilution required with H20 and the Neem Oil? No chance in F'ing up the plant either? And will water/nutes penetrate the sand to get to my soil/roots? Can I just use a thin layer of small pebbles and it have the same effect? I have sand right now.... Neem Oil can be gotten tomorrow!

Sorry for all the questions... just don't want to mess things up! You've helped me A LOT!!!

Soooo.... here's an update for everyone, the LST'n is coming along BEAUTIFULLY! I took out the dumb ass reflector and just hung lights all around her in the box, everyone is right (try to get CFL's coming from every direction to the plant - when using them) because she took off like a rocket!!! Every couple days she has like 1"-2" growth in every direction. I also bought some more of the bud that this seed came out of and took a picture of it for everyone, it's good stuff (they're calling it "Fruity Loops" because it legitimately taste like fruity loops when you blow out lol)! The word on the street is there has/was only been about 5-6 seeds found in a pound (so I'm hoping they're mostly feminized) - I was lucky enough to have found TWO and I have another germinating right now! Anyway's I also did some close ups of the nodes, branches and w/e.... see if someone can help me determine the sex for SURE. Dude, I swear - JUST THIS LITTLE PLANT has my whole room REAKING like fresh buds!!! It's insane, I don't know why at all.... this thing is CRANKIN' out some lovely fumes though! Just by looking at pictures of males, females and all the other stuff, I really think this is a female.... I plan to start flowering in 2-3 weeks.

Give me your opinion... who cares, even if you don't see any evidence of EITHER sex. Just act like you are (or maybe you already are) a betting man and let's say you HAD to put down $100 to guess (or your whole family would be murdered and tortured infront of you, then you'd have your tongue cut out, ice picks jammed down your ears with a hammer and your eyes popped out with a butter knife - then sent to live your life)... what would you go with? LOL.... I just want someone to give me their gut feelings too. So what if you're wrong, these are guess's!!!

SO what do yall think of her growth spurt in the past week - 2 weeks??
