My Very First Mini DWC Grow!

What's up princess! nice to see more females around here. Mini DWC is lookin good. Sorry to hear that it may be a male. Either way, it's a good learning experience and it seems like you have a good teacher to help you out there! good luck!
I'm growing some NL#5xAH right now in DWC. I start all of my girls (from clone) in my 5.5qt mini "starter" DWC tub as I call it, and then transfer them to a 10gal DWC in the flower chamber. Link to the journal is in my sig, you and your man should check it out and tell me what you think.

hey joint..Thanks :)..I baby the hell out of the plant, and im very sure that its a male..probably gonna chop it either today or tomorrow..im gonna check the preflowers to make sure its a male before i do it..yes i agree its is a very good learning experience and i have a great teacher :)..hes taught me everything i know right now and im still learning..good luck on your grow..i put updates on here about once or twice a day

gonna do a quick update...theres really no change right now..its sucking up a ton of water to had to put more in today, still ph'd at 5.5..it seems to be perkier..woohoo..other than that no change..ill definitely keep everyone updated

alright its update time..unfortunately the baby was a definite male so i chopped it..i got a party cup going right now..just started that the other day..here are some last pics of the plant...

yeah it sucks...that one was going to be a beast...but cant have no nuts floatin around in a box with other ladies...will find it much easier and more forgiving in a party cup...maybe i might take back over the mini dwc....if we have the room that is

from the look of your first grow, if its a female, i'd say your going to do just dandy Your Highness ;) keep it up. one question though what kinda air pump are you using with just that little air stone?

haha thanks hun..and its a 30 gallon dual air pump and the male was in a 1/2 gallon plastic container filled about halfway with water...this is my first party cup grow so i cant wait to see how it turns out..thats another plant that im gonna be babying...i babied the hell out of the one that was just chopped haha

no offense but i woulda chopped that thing regardless lol jk jk but for real u should read up on DWC cuz ur doing something wrong..looked like a root ball was forming in ur roots so i advice u to get a better air stone or a bigger one or even add another one

and i read u add water everyday..u want the water levels to drop everyday princess..gotta make them roots work for that water

i setup and made that dwc..it was working just fine...and there was plenty of airflow going into it...had there been more pressure in it there would have been water everywhere..how much more then a 30 gallon pump would half a liter of water need?....and water had to be added daily...it was sucking up about 80% of the water each day...had it not been added it would be almost bone dry after 2 days

where's all the REAL growers at?? i noticed almost everybody was just like "awesome plant" "good job" lol im not fake ima tell u what i think and know and i know u aint given that girl enough air OR the roots are constantly being soaked in water causing a brown root ball..or its root rot one of the 2

and this is after the "real growers" said that....your advice wasnt needed after the plant was chopped...and so you know that thing was made to be a cloner...but i didnt use it...so i figured it would be something she could grow in to learn a few things about growing
