do you know what ppm of chlorine you are giving your plants? when i use shock, i try to use 3ppm twice a week. you don't want to go over 5ppm or your plants will not like it.

No idea, i try next time to check the PPM what Cool is the Shock don't change of my Reservoir.

Found it from THc Farmer

That is correct. Same EXACT ingredient as EZ Clone Clear Rez that sells for $20 a QT.

Get your self a 1 lb bag of HTH Pool shock non PH buffered available online and most hardware stores (bought mine from Ace). Mix 1 GRAM (450 in the bag) per gallon of solution. Will make the SAME EXACT concentration fo the SAME EXACT product. $4 will make you 450 gallons of the stuff and will treat over 286,000 gallons of water !! Should last you a little while ... Can you say markup ??

Been using this on all my clone machines and all my ebb and flow reservoirs now with great success. You use 1 OZ per 5 gallons. I actually make it a lot stronger at 24 grams per gallon then only have to use a teaspoon per 5 gallons. Works very well in both systems. Works better then H202. You need to reapply every 3 days to keep bacteria at bay. You can actually use much stronger doses if you like. City water is 1-5 PPM of chorine when you add this it only raises the PPM level of chlorine less then 1/2 a PPM. Very safe and very effective. Found my PH levels to be much more stable in my larger reservoirs compared to using 2 doses of 30% H202 per week. Its doing a better job of killing the nasties

I do i have removed them :) but why Pepole using this for DWC?
You are not doing DWC, you are doing DTW. In deep water culture true hydroponic mediumless style of growing its crucial to oxygenate your water somehow, since this is the only one source of oxygen for your roots. In coco drain to waste you have plenty of oxygen in your pot. Thats the reason why people using air stones or waterfalls. For coco is more than enough to keep the water clean and circulating and your really do not need to worry about oxygen levels rather than proper treatment of the medium. You wont need any kind of chiller for DTW, unless you plan to go DWC, than its a must.

Can you describe what exactly you are doing with that water? Order of mixing and what you add at what dose? What brand of osmosis system do you posses and how does the membrane look like? Do you maintain it clean and whats the EC of that treated water? Any reason why not use just tap?

I use a relatively new Osmosis Membran with a Filter i Pump it in a Big Tray

The Osmosis Water has a Ec of 0,015-0,020

Then i pump it from the Tray to the Reservoir from there i add Cal/Mag 0,4 Ec and then GHE Micro 6ml/Gallon and 9ml/Gallon then i adjust the PH to 5.8

Since I already have bleach in the house, thats what I am going for if the Tea doesnt work.

Tried to weigh out 0,2 grams yesterday, and thats not alot of course. Quite puzzling when you search on the site, you read people using 6-8 drops for 1 gallon, dont know what that measures out to be, but quite the difference.

Think I will try the 0,2 grams to 8 gallons to begin with, just to be sure.

Are you using pH up and pH down at the same time? What contains your pH down Sir?

He say he mix 1g per Gallon and from this stuff he using 1oz (28g) per 5 Gallon of Reservoir Water that's makes more sense oh my.... So my stuff in 1 liter Bottle is 4 times so strong so i have to use 7g of Solution per 5 Gallons of Water.

The dosage is less then my dosage i using with 0,5ml/l so shit here... I check the PPM from my Osmosis 0,005 after i add the 0,5ml/l (20 Liter Reservoir) the PPM doesn't change! I read earlyer this day that the PPM for the Reservoir has to 1-2ppm with pool Shark so i have to add more to get 0,006 ore 0,007 PPM? Hm
