My weed smells like shit

I uses a jar that was recently stored with garlic, i washed it with hot water, than jared my dry buds to cure. A week later that garlic smell came back and my weed smells like it. It looks amazing just smells like that garlic. I already switched to a new jar but how can i fix this? I tried using fruits to mask smell helped a bit but garlic smell still thier.

no fixing it now bro... got to air jars out for a while especially with garlic! sometimes i have to soak in bleach and then air out for serveral days :/ free jars tho :)

idk if it can come out, once it has absorbed the Garlic?....least you will not have to worry about vampires

Maybe research Water-Curing...I've heard of someone taking some crappy cured weed, and that tasted bad...and when he water-cured, said it was then....like it should be!

Random fact of the day. You can take a clove of garlic, rub it on your foot, and actually taste it in your mouth. Garlic is strong, and I doubt thats ever going to "get out of your weed".

I find it a good idea to rinse out jars with rubbing alcohol, it sterilizes and leaves no scent.

You could make hash with it, or butter, but it would be more like garlic butter I guess lol

Just tell everyone it's the latest and greatest strain, garlic-wreck. Gets you fucked up and protects from vampires.

this probably isn't helpful to the problem but there are a lot of strains that have a "garlic pheno" and personally i usually love the way those strains smell and taste. real garlic is probably a bit different, though. i think you've done all you can by switching jars. maybe toss in some fresh or wet bud to get more of an herby taste. have you tasted any?

Hey ive heard a tip where the guy took some baking soda and put it in the jars to absorb the smell from the jars, but i dont know how u would remove a smell from weed, IMO i would jus keep trying to use fruit

and i had a question i curently have some bud curing and ive dried it in front of a fan for about four days and the stems were still bendable i put it in a plastic bag sealed it then put that in another plastic bag and sealed it, let it sit over night now my bud jus smells like greenery like cut grass, it doesnt have a weed smell. Did i leave it in the bag too long?
