Mycorrhizal Fungi (Granules)

Ah friend of mine gave me some mycorrhizal in granule form,Is the first time I have heard of this but from what I have read sounds alright.
Has anybody out there used this product before?
I can't seem to find any kind of directions as far as quantity to mix ratio anywhere.Would love to know?And maybe your own thoughts off how you would rate it?

I just sprinkle some liberally in the hole as I transplant from pot to pot. I dont measure, but I'm using roughly a tablespoon or less at a time if I had to guesstimate

if its full granules ill just rub it into the top 2-3 inches of soil.

Have already transplanted them ah week ago,was thinking maybe crush them up and do ah watering mix or spray soil?Potency?

Then id do what @Gond00s said, and just sprinkle on top and work it into the top 2-3 inches of soil.

As far as potentcy, you dont need much. Its fungal/bacterial spores, so once they're in the pot, they'll multiply as they find food. Here's the kind I use if you want to use that as a jumping point: https://downtoearthfertilizer.com/products/biological-products/granular-root-zone/

Depending on pot size u want about a tablespoon per 3gal if media.
u can’t really over do granules anyways (too an extent)

Top dress and water in, crushing will help

Cool thanks for that...After I work them into the soil will be same time as watering so ok to water straight with ah feed mix?

Answering your questions (and for other growers who might have the same doubts)

In order to add your Mycorrhizal, you need to have direct contact with the roots! The two application methods that work best are:

1. Mixing in the soil media.

2. Mixing in the planting hole.



For seedlings, you want to mix DYNOMYCO™ Mycorrhizal Inoculants in the growing media and apply DYNOMYCO™ Mycorrhizal Inoculants in the planting hole on every transplanting. It’s very important to inoculate the plants from the earliest stage possible, so the fungi grow on the young roots early on and start to work their magic when the plant needs them most! with DYNOMYCO application rate is 5 grams per clone/seed in 1-pint containers. For different brands the application rate changes.


The most important application is done at the start of each growing cycle from a clone or seed. Additional applications are done upon each transplantation. There is no need to apply it every feeding or many times since it needs to make direct contact with the roots
