Not paticuarly if your ferts are just salts and there is no soil web to support them or you cant make your ferts work without mycos.

Some people rave about them, personally i find they add very little. Adding them to an organic soil seems really pointless.

If you add them to soilless id make sure i was adding them to somthing that was going to support and nourish them or again it seems pointless :-)

There's a number of them that don't work with soilless setups as they tend to foam heavy. I've had good luck and I have had a good bit of luck using my mammoth p and great white combo but I run supersoil you can tell a difference with supersoil. Running them outside of soil I feel is pointless and just flushing your money down the toilet as most tell you to change your water after 24 hours due to the foam. h2o2 is your best bet running hydro.

I use bennies in DWC, myco grow soluble from fungi perfecti, I noticed major differences after adding them to the mix, my mold problems went away, root problems stopped, I don't even keep up with reservoir temps. I haven't noticed any issues with foaming, could be product specific.
