Mylar What should I be looking for?

Hey guys,

I did a search but it returned way too many hits for me to go through. I need to buy some Mylar but I'm not sure what I should be looking for exactly. Is there a preferred brand name? What about thickness? I've come across "2 mils" but I'm not sure if that's what I should be getting.

Lil' help?

Mylar can come in huge rolls, or you might be able to get strips. I got a lot of my start up grow stuff on amazon. Another thing to look for is panda plastic. Its completely white on one side and black on the other. It reflects the light around the same as mylar and typically is cheaper.

If your on a budget like me, Emergency Blankets work great and cost around $5 at walmart. Not nearly reflective as mylar but saves your some $

Ok, well budget aside (hard to believe I wrote that!); if I go with mylar what qualitative features should I be shopping for? Is there one brand name over another? What about the thickness of the sheets?
