Why don't you just veg with cfl's until you can get the HID lamp setup properly? We can all see from MKM's threads that you can veg very nicely with some cfl's

Because I'm going to use those CFL's for seedlings. I'd like to get the tent dialed in correctly from the beginning so I don't have to stress about it later when the new seedlings are ready to go in there. Might as well do it right from the start and get it over with...

I figure I have about a month or so before we finally pick a place and move, in the meantime I can get this thing working properly so when I move it's just a matter of taking it down and putting it back up. The tent was super easy to put together, it comes with it's own travel case and should be just as easy to break down again

I rearranged all the lights in my tote, hopefully to maximize the cfl's I have. I'm going to start germinating the Jack Herer seeds, probably just 2 of them for now. I'm attaching a few pics it and also Delilah the clone when I first got her and how she looks now.

The funny thing is it's grown 3 inches or so when I had it in the tote. I finally figured out how to keep my temps down to 86 and the humidity in the high 30's, I had to slightly open the zipper and put my stand up fan that I use for my bedroom in front of it blowing air in, not how I want it but it works for now. I need to figure out something more permanent this weekend.

Hmm because I have been told that the MH bulbs are better for vegging, and the HPS bulbs are better for flowering. Was just wondering if you knew which one was in there right now. I saw 400W MH bulbs at lowes for 30$

As far as I know the hps on 12/12 should work fine, the only thing I'm doing is taking Delilah out at 7pm and putting her under the cfl's for another 4 hours before putting it back in the tent
I checked the seeds a few minutes ago, no luck yet. I used the weakest looking seeds first, if they don't crack after tomorrow I'll try the other 2. I also talked to my wife's cousin today who has a ton of seeds he's collected over the years, he's going to drop some off this week
