First picture update!

Kaia Kush is bigger due to her being germined for the FULL 4 days.
Blue Mystic has been germing only 2 days (first bean fell behind the boiler..) an is already supporting a cute little Tap Root.

Both will be going into there 11 Litre Pots today making there potting dates Jan 16th.

I can honesly say this will be my first grow without kitty being around so yes my first solo grows.but that dont worry me as im confident these 2 little ladys will not be to much of a handfull for me to handle.

Kitty told me to say HI to all her fans an followers before she left earlier!

been kinda busy offline, but a quick update the Kaia Kush never made it an died in the soil (possibly down to the snowly cold UK weather we had last week)so ive had to germ another one. Blue Mystic is flourishing pretty well on her own. I will have a few pics an be free to answer any questions which anyone may have hopefully tomorrow it this coming week.

Week 1

Blue Mystic was a speedy starter from the moment i popped her little sprout into the 11 litre pot an as you can all see shes a pretty fast riser when she settled in.At the time this picture was taken she was 1.5 inches tall.

Kaia Kush is yet to show her face above soil since i had to regerm another of her seeds.

week 2

BM is really flying for a 2 week old! Shes now sitting tall at 2.5 inches high an every day i check on her im always greeted with a GREAT aroma which makes me giggle with excitement! Even a little rub of both big leaf stems reveals a VERY pleasently potentish type aroma which is exciting as ive never grown BM before! an this is all without any nutes added yet so good signs from BM in my book. She is due her first big water feed sometime tomorrow, so i might intro her to her first Bloom Nute feed an see how she copes with that while shes happly enjoying the 24hrs light cycle as your see in the pics below which i manages to take earlier today.

KK finally popped above ground a week after popping her into her soil home. Shes been getting around half a cup of water daily depending on how she looks, to slowly fed to her to be sure she doesnt get drowned. Obviously when shes older her roots will allow her to handle more bigger watering. Shes 2 weeks behind BM So there is really not much i can really say about her at the moment!

BM close up I like how bushy shes become at 2 weeks.

I am hoping uk has seen the last of the snow as that did worry be abit due to how pretty cold it was at night times, which im still sure was behind the first KK seedling not making it after potting her into the soil.

If you followed my past NL grows, then i am sure you know my grows can sometimes be like a roller coaster ride.

Stay tuned for next weeks episode of BM an KK adventures!

Looking good at 2 weeks. Where I live snow is not a problem THIS year but it sure is cold and windy -32C wind chill last week. Today is + 11C kind of crazy.

Week 3 update

BM is now 3 weeks old an looking super bushy as ever. I was hoping to behin seeing some signs of sex this week as its usually around this time when her beautiful female parts should be appearing, but so far shes just content in bushing out as much as possible.

I have pinned down some of BMs lower branches (similar to mainling) so they can grow outwards an then upwards to help them get better light exposure for when the bud sites begin to grow. This also helps overal for more bud production in the end im hoping.

KK is 1 week old today, an looks healthy as BM look around the same time frame so although shes 2 weeks behind BM shes showing shes happy next to her 2 week older sister in the grow room.

Overall both plants are looking happy, healthy and showing good signs. I am hoping by next week to be introducing KK to 18/6 lighting as she will be old enough and maybe her first nute feed if she looks healthly enough to handle it. And imhoping BM will some sign of her sex as this is around the time her delightful female parts show begin to make her appreance.

Thanks to all who are following BM an KKs journey here on RIU!

BM has done nothing but exploded with bushyness since i removed all but her 2 highest fan leafs last week. shes still not showing any lady parts or any signs of any yet. I have been pretty busy so this pic have only just been taken. I haven been able to mesure BM due to her out growing my ruler lol but shes pretty tall. an curvy if you hadnt noticed by todays picture update.

KK has blossomed well for a 2 week old young lady. no yellowing of the leafs, coping well with the constant 24hr lighting.

now KK is old enough im switching the lighting to 18hrs on/6 hrs off to give them some sleeping time.

today is nute feeding time for them both. so this is a curious time to see how KK handles her first bloom nute feed. I decided to skip the grow nutes due to how well KK is looking and how BM clearly has her own agenda and hasnt rejected her first dose of bloom nutes last month.

other than them updates is still the waiting game for BM s female parts to begin showing. she will be getting another good defolication session because shes got a jungle of growth to dig threw to check for lady parts. an that jungle is what will prevent her lower bud sites from getting much needed light to develope.

so other than them few updates theres not any real major updates to announce this week fellow growers.

again its the waiting game for BM an a curious waiiting game for KK to see how she adapts to the new 18/6 lighting and her first bloom nute feed

nute feeding mesurements incase anyones curious.

BM gets 10mls of bloom nute per 1 litre of water
KK gets 5mls of bloom nutes per 1 litre of water to get her use to nutes..

Stay tuned for next weesk addition of the BM and KK adventures hosted by Curiousuk

Well folks its update time.

BM is 5 weeks old, and finally begun showing a few female parts a few days ago so thats taken the that worry off my mind. She was given a dam good defolication session yesterday as she got far to bushy and there was no chance of her lower branches getting any much needed light coverage. and thanks to a few ties here an there i think ive finally got all her braches an future bud sites in the best places for them to begin growing.

When i defolicated BM i went all out an took off ALL of her huge leafs just to see how she handled it as ive heard/read that its the big leafage which prefents the lower sites getting there dose of lighting. well as this picture shows shes skinny looking with NO big hughe leafs left so them rumours are true about not needed the big leafage.

KK is beginning to bush out well, she also handled her first nute feed very well as the picture shows. one of her leafs is a little deformed but other than that shes looking as healthy as her older sister.

they both had adapted very well to the lighting going from 24 hours on over to 18 on 6 off. which is another positive i was curious about. if KK keeps bushing out as well as she is doing now then i will be giving her, her first good defolication session before next weeks update.

The aroma coming off a steam rub of KK is of a candy type scent which im enjoying. BMs aroma is still strong as ever. luckly ive not had any issues with having to control the aroma even with a recent coucil viist to repair some unwanted asbestos in my from room ceiling.

SO this weeks been a good week for the both of them. il be doing some close inspections of KK over the next week to see if she begins to show her lady parts as she will be 4 weeks old. unless she plans to show them in week 5 as her sister bm decided to do.

Thats all for this week folks. And as always thanks for checking in on my 2 young ladys diarys and il see you all next week!

whats the dealio over here?
If you mean hows the growing ive been Very very busy since the last update. I also lost the mobile i was using to take pics so a few weeks of images are gone an whoever browsing the media ont hatr fone are gonna shocked witht he plants they see on them.

All i can update on at this time, is KK somehwo developed mold to the point where the soil stuck of mold so i had to give up an toss her out.

BM is still going pretty good, her buds are NOT as big as the NL tien grows which is a dissapointment, but with a 150w cfl grow beggers cant be choosers. I wanna keep her going for as long as possible as im not fully use to working with BM but its cutting it close as shes close to her estimated number of weeks before done limit. But her trics are not finished so im pushing to give them more time to work there magic.

I am debating asking around if anyone wishes to possibly swap my remaining BM an KK beans for other autos or maybe even some regulars...Ive not fulyl decided yet. I do think if i got regular seeds an ending up finding a male an female growing together that could lead to the chance free seeds which is tempting to.

I will try an get hold of a camera or pic taking mobile sometime soon but i cant hold any promises since my luck sure is not going as i would hope as of lately.

They are kaia kush feminsed seeds from green house. I tend to have auto son my mind when im posting on my auto grow diarys.

Well if i wasnt presented with a strong mold type smell when i went to water KK about 2 weesk ago then maybe i might have had the chance to smoke abit of her. but until then im finishing off my BM grow an then il decide if i feel like giving KK another chance to grow out because it takes time to grow out anything if you have no close nit friends who have clones to get your into the non auto growing world.

Finally got a more recent picture of BM an it just occured to me shes kinda lopsided lol I think she didnt grow out fully when she was younger as the picture shows. But at this stage shes still not showing any light brown tricones yet, so i may continue to keep get growing even though shes clearly out gorwn the estimated grow time on the seed sites discription

but since im only feeding her water for the last few weeks i think shes safe to go on a nother week or to.

Now i know my KK seeds are not "autos" im tempted to give them a try when BM is finished as they could be my first non auto grows which does interest me. as if i can get into non auto grows then i that knowledge will help me with any future non auto grows an overal hopefully help lead my adventures into that tiny world of TGA genetics which im eager to break into. Well thats if some luck comes my way.

Anyway hope you enjoy the update as ive been tryingh hard to get a camera to get this updated picture on here.

If BM keeps looking healthy as she is i may keep her growning for another 2 weeks as i do want to try an get a mixture of brown an milky tricones on this grow if i can.

WEll BM is still hanging in there, even passing week 13 an coming onto week 14. But i still have no signs of brownish tricomes (bit of a bummer) so i guess when i do chop her, that im gonna be getting all milky tricomes which is better than nothing.

I am getting more an more tempted to chop her on the start of week 14 which will be on wednesday IF there are no signs of any brown trics popping up. This is due to alot of her dropping away but shes still got a fare few healthy green leafs an a few smallish sugar leafs. but since ive gotta try an get a pretty large ceiling torn down due to asbestos which needs removing i wanna get BM out an curing so when they done tearing up my front room ceiling i can crack onto what ever grows i decide to venture into next. weather it be 2 BMs or maybe breaking into trying main lining with 1 or 2 of my remaining KK beans.

Yield wise i think i maybe pulling another 1 zip out of this grow. Even though BM is odd sided due to her mysteriously not fully growing on all sides if she pulls a zipper out of this grow il be content.

thanks for following

week 14 i believe is tomorrow

i aint waiting for amber tricomes because there just aint none showing anywhere on BM so il stick to milky ones this time around.

BUT i got a few pics

i thin BM is high off her own supply in this pic

and a better view of her bush an buggyness

an some bud shots. im aware 2 bud pics look odd couloured its neabours camera fone..

now as ive been feeding her water for the last month as i wasnt sure when she would be read for the chop. i doubt any flushing will be needed. but tomorrow marks week 14 if im not mistaken. there fore i will give her the recommended 24 or 48 hours no light just fan blowing in the grow room to help them tricomes an then she will stay in the dar until i feel shes dried out which will proberly be 4-5 days if shes anything like the old NL twins an there long drying out time frame.

Im pretty sure theres a zip in there but i wont no until i get them into there nescafe curing jars.
