i believe the molasses is to feed microbes in the soil. which breaks down organic material that feeds your plant npk. i will try this. do not know if it is really fact
but a lot that i have read states this. and i believe it to be true to the sciences.
Correct, that's why you don't actually 'taste' the Molasses.

As far as your question in the first post, the nutes you mentioned will work fine, probably even into flower.
I actually used the MG all purpose (24-8-16) from day 25 until the third week of flower, so as long as you pay attention to them, you don't have any worries with that stuff.;-)
Good stuff going on there!
Thanks bud

I have done it in the past, but never in a side by side with one plant without Molasses, so I can't say if it helped or not.
I couldn't tell any Molasses taste like some say, (which I didn't think I would anyway), but have been Chatting with SOMEBEECH a bit, and he has used in the past I think, and we agreed my last week or so I would water with just Molasses since I recently burned her a bit.
But, I have been giving 1 tsp/ gal every other water throughout the grow since I started feeding at day 25.
The only thing I'm not sure of, is I remember reading that the Molasses has a tendency to drop the PH more than just nutes will.
And Jpeg, ya, he's got some good stuff going on.
Been busy lately I think, but I follow his threads also.;-)
I've heard that molasses can clog up roots so it can't take anthing in, but Ive heard good stuff too about flushing the last 2 weeks before harvest. IDK

I hadn't heard the clogging thing, unless you go overboard on it, but 1 tsp or even 1 Tbsp dissolves easy enough in a cup of water, then I mix into a gallon.
As far as the flush or not to flush debate, that is one that will go till the end of time, like chicken and egg.
As soon as I pop 2 beans at the same time that are the same, I will try a side by side to see on the flush thing (which I don't do now, and don't taste anything funny) and the with/ without Molasses.

Well, the chicken came first because if the chicken wasn't there first, then the egg wouldn't have been able to hatch!
This is Black Jesus' word written in stone. Do not debate it or I'll have to throw you in the fiery pits of hell along with bmeat! :fire: Now, hell was bad enough, but just imagine being thrown in there with bmeat... Now do you really want that for yourself? No? Didn't think so.

is there a reason you go cfl's. leds can offer so much more. intial cost yes much more.
i went the cheap route with cfl's. but when i start work in march i will invest in an led setup.
i believe cfl's can make just a good green just other lights are much easier.
It's cheap and my room is limited right now (that's gettin ready to change) but I haven't heard alot about LEDs exept in tech stuff, some, but then I saw the price..OMG... so what it boils down to is I'm cheap...I'm 45 & shooting for "full" early retirement in 10 years and it wasn't in the budget...lol

Bmeat Defense System....Contact me to activate. oh man, that's effn funny!!! ya I've heard some of his comments, sounds young & prideful, not a bad mix "if" he could admit mistakes he might have made...an old man once told me (my father, now I'm him) if you don't make a mistake at least once a day, you must not be doing nothing....

My dad taught me, 'To learn, one must have eyes and ears open, and mouth closed.', and a friend once told me he tried to read the newspaper every day, just so he could learn something new every day.

If you're really into the LED's, and good with soldering and electrical, why not make your own with LED's, a board, and resistors from Radio Shack?
There's gotta be something on Youtube about it.
