Day 30


So a sneak peek at what I'm devising after this diffuser grow... a micro (not really stealthy) PC perpetual grow setup!!
So I've been thinking of a very compact way of doing a perpetual grow with a computer case since my first grow and I think I may have found it. Not stealthy even in the least bit, but I'm currently growing a Kalanchoe plant with it and it appears to be doing great. My future plans would be to rig up something more legit as the reflector and grow the mother inside the case and her clones (guessing I could pinch in 3-4) on the outside of the case. It's still in its planning stages and any input on any ideas on how to make this better would be greatly appreciated, thanks!





And now for the day 30 update!!


She started packing the trichs on and is looking beautiful! Lots of bud sites and she's still growing strong. She's filled up about half of her container, I expect her to fill it up completely by the end of this week. A pretty surprising note is that I found growth occurring right below the cotyledons as you can see in one of the pictures below. Never had this happen to me before, I've had growth right around or on the cotyledons, but never below it... weird.

Day 37



Stunted growth for sure due to the diffuser and my low wattage. She's started to add weight but I do not see very many leading colas except for the main one. Bud formation appears to be somewhat equally distributed between all the bud sites. LST training has come to a stop seeing as how she isn't stretching anymore and is just adding weight.

I fed today with some Bloom nutrients, so we'll see how fat she gets here in the last half of the grow... crossing my fingers for a decent yield (doesn't look so promising).

Day 43


Not much to report other than she's getting fatter and adding on those trichs. It's actually pretty cool... her hairs are such a vibrant orange/yellow that all the budsites seem to have this faint golden glow to them. And with where she's at now, I'm expecting a late harvest.... guessing maybe early Dec instead of the mid November date that I was hoping for, but oh well. Anyways, I hope that everyone is having a chill ass Sunday!! ENJOI

Thanks!! I hope she gets super fat here during the last part of the grow. The difference between this grow and my last grow are waves apart and I'm just hoping that looks are deceiving and that this girl will pack it on and give me a decent yield.

At home, sick... so I'm bored and had some time to a take a comparison shot. Something I plan on doing for the second half of this grow is to try and take the same angled shots I did for the first half and throw up comparison pics.

Thanks reku!! Im actually abandoning all the preset settings such as macro mode and what not on the camera and learning how to manually set everything from focus to aperture and shutter speeds. I get better, clearer, results that way... or at least i like to think so lol.

Day 58


Coming to an end, white pistil production has slowed down and the pistils have begun to recede. She's been packing on quite a bit of weight this past week and I sure hope it continues. I'll be pulling off a bud some time next week to do a smoke test, I'm super stoked because she seems a lot frostier than the Critical+ Auto I grew a while back. Trich ratio is about 50/50 cloudy/clear, so I'm hoping that I'll still be able to harvest her around Thanksgiving time . Anyways ENJOI the pics!!

So today is day 64 of the G13 Labs Pineapple Express Auto. Now according to the breeder this strain goes from seed to harvest in about 50 days. So I'm about 2 weeks out and still see no sign of her being ready anytime soon... maybe in another week. Brown/clear hairs are like 50/50 and the clear/cloudy trichomes are also showing 50/50, so I decided to take a sample from her today. The first thing I noticed from this grow is that these nugs are pretty fuckin dense and big too (pic below)! I'll get another pic up, a preharvest smoke report and weight on the thing after it dries, so for now... you can ENJOI her drying pics

Day 70



Finally seeing some amber coming in but for the most part she's still all clear/cloudy. I'll be flushing her with just water for the second time now and plan to harvest next week some time.

The sample nug is dry and cured now... well, not really cured but just dry. I had left it to dry for 3 days and by the time I threw it in the jar the relative humidity was reading 57%. With a couple of burps here and there she dropped down to 52%. Not exactly the best dry and cure but at least now I know that these winter months just dry the fuck out of my buds. Will probably hang dry for ~2 days and constantly throw them in jars to check the humidity. I'm aiming for what I had last time which was a slow hang dry down to ~68% and then throw them into jars and burp them down to 58-60% over the span of 2-3 weeks. If anyone has any suggestions on hang drying in cold/dry weather I'd LOVE to hear about it.

I was VERY surprised to see this thing riddled with bud sites under all the leafage. This girl is packing it on!! You can see the nub where I had clipped her a lot better in the second pic and the "little" popcorn buds that were growing underneath the cola.

I cannot wait to harvest next week. Will most likely do a staggered harvest once again.
