First grow...

Made all the noob mistakes...and I mean all of them !!! ( nute burn, nute lock, overwatering..too hot...too cold etc)

Yet the Green Goddess smiled upon me in the end...

Not much to look at....but it is my first ever harvest.

Next one ( already have clone...something called Cindaberry) is going to rock !!!...I never make the same mistake twice.

Peace...

EDIT : It is a Super Silver Haze...

That is a lot of bud ! I'm jealeous.

Really ?

I didn't think the end result was that much....

If I hadn't tried to kill it so many times ( unintended of course :) ) I bet I could have gotten 2x the size and weight of the eventual harvest. I would have taken it longer and repaired more of the damage I did...but the leaves were turning yellow ( 75% yellow at harvest ) and it was time anyway.
Now that I know what I'm doing ..I'll never have to buy smoke again.

Peace

yum yum one of my fav strains aswell :D

Mine too...so much so I'm thinking of foregoing the Cindaberry and picking up a Super Lemon Haze clone instead....

Even the Super Silver Haze I just harvested smells so lemony with a hint of eucalyptus...

Next harvest is going to be so much better....can't wait !

Oh and I'm going to skip the pop corn stuff all together, and concentrate on the colas.....wish I had done it earlier on the SSH. Using the bending over method and a little shaping you can get a lot of colas.

Well done , really impressed for a first grow , was it just the one plant and what was your lighting .

Just the one plant...all I got room for.

Lighting was 2x 150 HPS and 2x 100 watt CFL ( CFLfor veg only...removed when flowering started)

Lights were spaced apart to allow the plant to widen out without all the colas trying to reach just one light...Mylar on 3 sides...plant was rotated 180 degrees every day ( It sat on a lazy susan ) to mimic sun movement and allow the un-mylared area to get some extra rays.

By the way thanks for all the kind replies...

Thought I was going to be laughed at...

I'm just kinda proud of myself at the moment...my fingers are still sticking to everything, including the keyboard.

Never grew before...smoked a lot of it...but never grew it.

And to think a month ago I was thinking of tossing it into a dumpster and starting over...it was in that bad of shape. Glad I stuck it out now...

Oh by the way....for other noobs..research the strains your growing, not all weed grows the same. I researched the SSH ( humidity, PH,temp etc) and for the first month it did beautifully...but then I went way off track for a month and almost killed it...several times in fact..it was only when I went back to the info I originally discovered ( at GHS) and stuck to that regiment.. did the plant recover.

GHS is a good place to research the ideal growing conditions for your particular plant....

If only I had that month back...

Peace...

how long did the grow take from seed to harvest ?

4.5 months...sprouted 5 days, 6 weeks veg, rest flower. Probably could have shortened the time and increased the yield if I hadn't tried to kill for a month.( My real bad..:( )

It was 75% yellow leaves when I harvested....( and it wasn't finished either..it just was too abused to fully recover )

Never again...

ahmen my friend... ahmen. Congrats!

peace.

In the future you might want to keep those cfl's going through flower as well. The more light the better (even if they're veg lights)
