yeah, let him go a half hour early so he can pick the mutt up on the way home...where the fuck is his vet, and how did the dog get there? take a bus?.....as you can guess, i would have already let him go.....i'd rather work alone and be tired, than work with an idiot that pisses me off, then doesn't show up...so now i'm pissed AND tired....

Here's a funny story, one day at work me and my boss are building a 6000sf house and we need some help. Well a dude shows up out of nowhere and ask for a job my boss hires him and about thirty minutes later he's lying on the ground screaming ohh my back . My boss said go call 911 I grab him by his arm and pull a side and say in a load voice " get the shovel and I'll hit him in the head and we can bury him with the other one " . My boss got really pissed at me but the other dude jumped up and ran off. The next day he puts me in charge of hiring and firing.

So yeah in 15 working days he has called off, had to start late or get done early 5 of those days. Which is literally a third. It really is hard for us to find any help let alone good help. We start helpers out at $11-15 too depending on skill set! Any who I'm fucked either way.
