Nanners!!!

I have 2 purple queen and 2 green gelato in a 5x5 all grown from clones. Both Purple Queen are clones from the same plant however only one Purple Queen has a few nanners. I am thinking the cause was cold temps since it was cold here and this plant sat the closest to my intake fan in the unheated basement. My heater is placed inside the temp but I cycle for humidity.

I just noticed the nanners today. I am starting week 9 of flower and have already been flushing 1 week. I technically could start harvesting that plant now if I wanted too however I if I could ride it out another week to get a little more purple in the color it would be ideal. What would you do?

Harvest the one plant or pick the few nanners off and ride it out another week since it's already late in flower anyway.

You've got balls brother.
Pick the nanners off if you want, but remember you only have to miss one and you'll end up with seed everywhere. You might even get a male flower form undetected deeper inside a bud if you try that.
I'd pull the ones showing male flowers and let the rest keep going.

Thanks for the reply. How long does it take for real seeds to form after nanners show up? Like I said the entire harvest was getting chopped in a week anyway. I will probably pull that plant tonight.

Pick nanners and ride. Ive had plants that threw bananas for weeks and not a single sign of seed in any of the buds

I road it out another week and not a sign of a seed after trimming everything. It must have been the strain because the other stain in the tent didn't have any. I hate to say it but I think all the gene manipulation going on while making weed stronger is also breeding undesirable traits too.

After a week you still get tiny starts of seeds to snap, crackle and pop at you when you smoke it.
I have this problem now. It seems like the tiny seeds are formed. I guess it harms potency and really lowers the value of the crop. Sometimes the nanners were impotent, other times I found legit groups of nanners with considerable pollen in em. I attribute this herming to having the plants stressed out from being too close to the light (overgrew).
It really sucks! Maybe these effected buds should be made into concentrates....
