Fellow PE grower here.
Great strain all around. Great head high, long lasting, great taste/smell. Easy to train and clone when growing in my experience.
It will no doubt perform wonderfully in a SOG set up as you are shooting for. From clone, they're not particularly branchy (unless you throw in side lighting) so it may not be a bad idea to use 2L coke bottles as the containers (would give appropriate width/spacing between plants to get max yield).
I grow in a perpetual ScrOG set up with a 400w as well and have been running PE all spring and plan on running it through the summer (tolerates heat very well). Not the best yielding strain per say (I get 8oz off one of my mini tree under ideal conditions...should be higher given the setup)
. But that's really the only downside to this strain and a tightly packed SOG will make up for this.
The strain is a pretty easy grow (at least in coco). Be prepared for the smell though. Hits REALLY heavy in mid to late flowering (especially late)
. This isn't one of those strains you grow without some serious odor control (not stuff like Ona gel...you'll need a real carbon filter). The smell in veg is incredible but is only detectable if you physically run your hands across the leaves. Get in the habit of doing this. It's one of the most wonderful aromas in existence I shit you not.
Also, plan on 9 weeks if not more. The SOG should help you in this sense as they shouldn't go too long. But mine have gone around the 70 day mark

Oh, and manicuring is actually a breeze with this strain. Ton's of trich production starting relatively early in flower so you'll find that you're not trimming as much leaf material as you have to with most strains.
