natural co2 emission???

I havent tried it, but i have heard from more then a few people around LA that they use dry ice ... let it sit in a plastic try and disolve pure CO2 into the air.

I guess just a small amount is good enough to see a difference

you guys are getting crazy. by the time you make up for all this hassle and work is it worth it? if you want c02 become a med patient and get a tank with regulator. these yeast tricks are just plain stupid. forget co2 and get growing!!! good luck and sorry to anyone with a real c02 system but this is a waste of time. My buds prob grew an ounce since this thread was opened. go to a police auction. you can get c02 tanks cheap. like 5 bucks seized. try that.

man you didn't have to say the "P" word. but your right all this seems like there is way to much involved. im till going to try the yeast method just for the fact there is already some in my fridge, and trial and error is part of growing. anything to make my girls just that much better............they deserve that.

i said the humidifier comment. i never said to water with soda water. put it in the humidifier but its all a wase of time. prob not worth the power.

definitely don't need to be a med patient. I think the idea here is a cheap easy way, acquiring a tank is like 100 dollars and filling it requires more money, then you need a release valve/psi guage as well if you're sensible so in the end like 100-200 bucks to get a tank going.
and what the hell would you need co2 for as a med patient. really, suffocating yourself?

either use a fan or place the co2 above your plants because co2 mostly sinks and will just sit below the plants if you put it on the ground.
you should always have a fan circulating air in the room anyways.

i have a fan going constantly. i try to keep the air moving at least a bit and open the window once a day for fresh air.
i actually just put together the yeast and sugar method and am NOT confident at all. there is very little co2 thats going to come from this and its going to need alot of attention to keep the teast breathing. in my eyes it is NOT worth it. i knew that going into it but had to try it, i have nothing else better to do.

and yeah the med student is dumb.
saying you need it for welding purposes is the best cover for that.
my girls are very healthy as is so im not going to fret. so i spent a whole 5 bucks on yeats. oh well.we will see what happens vs. the other plant that im not going to give it to.

The item costs 100 to 200 dollars? how little bud are you guys getting off your grows? if your growing right even under a 400 you should have money. yes there is co2 at hospitals. and without a regulator and tank you are wasting your time. you guys with your homemede junk. this is weed with high power. you are prob the same guys with spliced wiring all through the house also. good luck to ya. hope you dont burn the suburbs down. wow 200 dollars. spend it and stop wasting youre own time. ive got plenty because i'm not wasting my time on that asoect and i still have bats as buds. lol. money!!!!

if you were to have worked at mcdonalds for the amount of time you guys asked stupid questions in here you could have already paid for it. lol a real tank and valve that is. oh yah and as for experimenting. good luck. you will have to do about 10 grows with co2 and 10 without. all with same lighting and mother plant. anything else wont be accurate. that should keep you busy for about 3 years. lol

my experiments arent that detailed. but your right to get true accurate results i would have to do that process. but seeing how im good with visual results, this method will do.
and if i worked at mcdonalds i would pry just be fat from eatting fries and double cheese burgers after i smoked!!

no i never saw it but i'll check it out. i just dont want you to waste your time. i can assure you right now in front of anyone here that yeast in whatever it is will not make any visual yield difference. between crops its common to see ounce differences. even from clone. if we vegged for 3 weeks a batch of clones then flowered for 8 weeks and got whatever amount you cant even assume that you will be within 50 grams on the next grow with the same time and mother plants. every crop will be slightly different making an experiment impossible. aslo you will have gained knowledge from the first grow that you will apply whether knowingly or not to the next grow. anything could throw off the results. a change in the season even though only outdoors could affect outcome. plus even 20 bucks in supplies has to grow an extra 2 grams just to break even. but i'm just saying these things because i know for a fact that yeast in water will be more headache then gain if any. co2 is for people who have free access to it. good luck to you guys anyways but its always best to do it right the first time. instead of researching weed co2 you should research how much co2 can be made from yeast. then decide. because it is very little. i mean very.
