looking great brother! a little crowded, yes, but theres always trimming, if you have to. like you said you gotta do the bottom trim after the main stretch, so you can thin them out if you have to, you should be fine though. those girls look so happy. your outdoor should turn out great with these beautiful looking ladies, cant wait for the outdoor updates!

thanks buddy. Im stoked on the grow so far.
will definitely have to do a little thinning. I saw some of my cousin's flat topp and master kush almost finished the other day and Im definitely keeping some cuts of them if I do a guerilla grow. still tbd
but im germing 5 grapefruit diesel beans that Im going to grow at my cousins in raised beds. gonna only be able to do 4 due to space restrictions since we're going to get them pretty big in raised beds and there are going to be a couple of us growing there. stoked :bigjoint:

MMMMMMMMM Lookin' nice and green! :leaf:
I'm coming back this weekend for the holiday on Sunday, let's meet up again and play a round or just hit the range if you're down. bongsmilie:bigjoint:

everything's going pretty smooth minus some leaf bleaching or lack of N but it's only happening to 3 or 4 of the flat topps and everything else looks pretty green. I fed them some veg fert(6-4-4) to help green the ones who are lacking color up a bit two days ago but no sign of greening up... check the difference in leaf color in the first pic. I hope someone can elaborate on whats going on with them... :wall:

and the 3rd pic of my tallest plant(grapefruit diesel) compared to the tallest master kush

Well once a leaf looses color it doesn't come back. But all new growth will be healthy. In my garden the Ak-47 is the lightest of them alll, very healthy just lighter. If it's localized to a few plants I'd say they are just a little different. It looks very healthy in the pics. Are you using FF? Only reason I ask is cause I know the GB is 6-4-4.

yea they all still look healthy but just lighter in color now than when I was vegging under my T5. no lack of growth or anything, just lighter in color. I'll check the new growth tho and see if thats greening up.
but yea Im using FF GB. I want to get a different veg fert but its all I have at the moment so just use it till its done. I just never stressed on having a good veg fert cuz I thought that the ferts in the soil would be enough to hold them till I put them in flower to start giving them bloom fert but Ive been reading a lot of Uncle Ben's posts and Im keeping N high all the way through this round

Hey NB they look pretty good man I wouldn't stress too much over the color. Yeah you want them nice and green right before getting flowered, but don't keep feeding N throughout the flowering cycle as I think you were referring to because high levels of N during flowering promotes stretch and vegetative growth. It can hold back flower production and cause wispy buds.

What I always do is stop the N right as I flip. Feed flower nutes throughout the rest of the plant's life, and IF they start to fade a lot or too early (like getting real light or yellow early as week 4) then hit them with a couple of waterings that have about 2 tsps of Grow Big in there too at that point. Then after those 2 or so waterings just revert back to the normal flower nute regimen.

I didn't see any 'light bleaching', which is really just heat stress. They might could use being watered a bit more often thought maybe...?

The Grapefruit Diesel looks killer!

Oh and you might want to try this out for your suspected nute deficiency, this is my new secret weapon. Hehehe Microblast from Earth Juice.

thanks man, Im happy with the progress so far considering I only ended up with 8 harvestable plants last round due to mite damage on all 4 of the super silver's so I just tossed those. but this round I have 16 and theyre all looking much healthier and stalkier to hold some weight so Id say that I'll end up with at least twice the weight this time :hump: :hump: :hump:

thanks for the reassurance man. they just looked so much greener in veg...:-|
I think Im going to push veg ferts for another week then start with the bloom fert. Ive just been reading a lot of Uncle Ben's threads and I see what he means when he says that a lot of growers push more P and K and almost no N in bloom leading to a loss color and energy in the last weeks. and he explains how N is the foundation of plant growth so I wanta try keeping my N levels a little higher this time. the npk ratio of my bloom fert is pretty balanced 1.1-2.5-2 but I think I'll supplement a little more N towards week 5 or 6. just wanta try something new this round since my last was far from amazing and I think lack of N couldve been a part of that.

I do need a micro-nute solution tho and my cousin is always ravin about earth juice so I think I found which one Im going with ;-)

Hey Bro, are they all the same strain in flower now? My pk does the same thing, the leaves don't look as green and vibrant. I am sure you have taken a leaf out from the hps to see what color it really is, but even when I look at mine under a regular light, the pk is not as dark green as the others..I figure it is strain related. But shit,, that is just my humble opinion. They look healthy tho man.

you really oughta look at the strain that I thought was flat topp cuz after talking to my cousin he said it might actually be pk instead of flat topp! I was looking at your pics of it and the strains look eerily similar..so now hearing you say that they lighten up makes me feel a little better about things especially since it is localized to that certain strain.
but no, I have 3 strains going in there- 3 grapefruit diesels, 6 flat topps/maybe pk and 7 master kush's.

here's the flat topp tho, whatta ya think raider? hope the picture's viable
