Nearing harvest, but cant get hands on magnifyer

I am nearing harvest time and ive seen several people on here say they recommend that you get a 30x and 100x lighted magnifyer. Thought I even seen them say could be gotten at RadioShack for around 10 bucks. Been to the radioshack.com site and i dont see it. Googled it but best i can tell is i would have to get it from amazon.com. Not sure if i have time or not for shipping. So i would like to know if anyone knows of a local store other than radio shack who might have one ? Not having much luck finding it on my own, but i will keep looking...

well i went to radioshack and purchased the 60x-100x illuminated mini microscope. tested it out on a piece of paper just toying with it until the lights came on. Lights came on and i went to see how far i really was. I believe that the 60x or 100x is either too much magnification or the unit i bought, is junk. Couldnt even see the leave fan leaves much less a trich on a bud or leaf. Could see a shadowed image barely. Played with the focus and power and still nothing. Guess i will try to get my hands on a 30x magnifying glass or something similar to the mini microscope.

the radio shack scopes are a little tricky. i have problems trying to identify my trich colors with it sometimes but i usually put it right on the bud to get a good look

In a pinch you go to dollar store and get 3.75 reading glasses... tear a small piece off and put on white paper ....

Scopes are awesome and cheap but you dont NEED them
Just cut a little bit of leaf that has lots of trichs on it and put it down on a peice of paper to use it. I loved my scope so much I bought my mom one for christmas lol

damn...didnt even think about doing that...lol...yeah im smashing the shit out of them trying to get close enough for the mini microscope....i even went out and bought a handheld magnifying glass to try to keep from smashing them...but its not enough magnification....i can see the trichs with it...but they still too small with that.....they need to change me from able to roll (which i can do with a machine and thats it...lmao) to still a noob...always will be a noob...and im cool with that...lmao

Nawww, my mom did the same thing
She called me up and told me that it was really hard to use and a kinda lame.
When I first heard about these there was some people saying the same thing so I knew what was up before I bought it
