Need a takeoff with these specifications to hookup my 14 " cc filter:
Diameter of Takeoff: 16"
with Rubber Gasket
Reduces to: 14" ducting adapter
Basically it looks like this picture, but needs to be 16" and reduce to 14". Does this even exist? Is there anywhere i can get something like this? If it doesn't exist, where can i find a 16" takeoff? Then, i'll need to connect a 16"-14" reducer to the takeoff. I need to source all of this stuff.

I have a fan on top of the garage port. There is a 15" hole. I need a takeoff that is minimum of 15". Standard sizes come in even numbers. I'm assuming unless i custom order something 15", i need a 16". I don't really want to buy a 16" CC filter and fan, as a 14" will more than cover me. I just can't use a 14" takeoff on this 15" hole.

Would the flange on a 14" take-off cover the hole and serve and your reducer?
Hmm. Why didn't i think of that? !! Maybe the overlap on the flange will cover the hole. Time to bring out the measuring tape. Orbo, you may have saved me unnecessary hassle. I'll get back to you tomorrow on this one.

As a last resort contact the school nearest you that teaches HVAC. The instructor can help a student make what you need and it gets them practice. They cannot charge you except for materials. Just have a good story not involving pot.

You can buy a flange also and attach. For gasket buy some weather strip in a roll
Okay, I think i'm going to do just that. i m looking up flanges right now. Trying to find something that would work with the reducer you just showed me.
