Need a controller if I'm installing a mini split?

Hey guys and gals,
Building out a sealed room, 6x6, and a small veg area with an additional work area. Custom building what I've always wanted with a new home I just purchased. I'm a hobbyist and prefer to grow my own is all.

My question though is if I have a mini-split that I can set to run at a certain temp and a dehumidifier that also has its own setting, do I need any other environmental controls? I'm only running a 1000w lamp and that's it but want a properly sealed room this time. Possibly a hybrid setup which seems to make a lot of sense.

The only controller it seems that I'll need is for Co2. Already had a bottle and regulator so I'm halfway there. A timer for my light and irrigation.

I was planning on getting an autopilot or something like that but maybe it's not necessary? Many thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Mini split do you mean a wall mounted AC/heat pump? If so I think that will do the dehumidifying aswell, mine does any ways. You’ll want to have an extraction fan aswell & a couple oscillating fans also to keep it all moving around

You dont need a controller. But youll want a dehuey that you can either set the humidity band, or that has 'resume after power reset' so that you can control it using an inkbird humidistat.

The minisplit youll want to set a schedule for cool during lights on and heat during lights off. The auto functions suck and generally have a too large of a deadband, so the temp swings too much

I use the. Trolmaster hydro x, with ars-1 for mini split day and night temperature setting. Super easy to setup and use. Took maybe 15 minutes to get up and going.

Bro I like the price point since it’s less than $300 but do I need to order any extra peripherals with it? The 3 in 1 sensor is all I would need for environmental control?

Yea I was Worried about the temperature swing which is why I figured a controller would be beneficial provided I don’t have to spend a few thousand dollars. Some thing for 300 - 500 bucks is fine

I bought mine on ebay for $220, same seller had them listed for $200. You would need the ars-1 add on. It's like $80
