I dont know, progress isnt always good. Cortez has always seemed to be an honest, hardworking community made largely up of the descendents of Ancestral Puebloans. The first settlers, really. Maybe they want it that way?
Shame about the hospital. Best of luck in the new State.
I agree 1,000,000% "Progress" usually means higher taxes, more traffic, and a severe strain on current infrastructure. I like the towns that don't cash in so their city councilmen can get rich.

Nice looking truck btw!

I got a lot of work to clean mine up. Lol. Gonna make the interior look brand new, and go mad max style on the exterior. Thats right, spikes, rust, and everything.

The drivers door mechanism fell off inside the door from slamming it earlier.. Oops. My first turbo diesel I ever owned, and happens to be a 2 stroke. Arguably the most bad ass sounding motors ever, detriot diesels!

Wish it had a ten speed, but I’ll need my other hand to mostly control the turret guns anyway..

Now that the insurance case is closed and I've gotten my money I will tell everybody what happened to me as to why I needed a new truck LOL. I also want to thank @curious2garden for her as always sound advice.

So basically I was involved in a freak accident 4th of July weekend where somebody's firework landed in my truck and exploded and started an insane chemical fire and basically burned my truck and everything in it to the ground. As I was at work driving down the road. The official fire forensics investigation was that they don't pay him enough to go in the truck with all those chemicals and that he's going to say it was an accident and I was not trying to blow myself up. And the insurance paid me. I escaped without a single injury. But yeah I almost fucking died LOL.

Yeah it could have been way worse. I was the only one involved. Which always makes it easier. Never made it to the gas tank. But man, PVC primer is flammable enough lol. And the cal hypo was like a fucking acetylene torch.

New truck is pretty sweet. Nice not having to open captive doors for lil neo who ain't so lil anymore and can open her own fucking doors! Just reordered my tools last night.

Until you've heard an oxidizer scream you ain't seen a real fire! I'm so glad you are ok! What would Bluey have done without you! and I can not conceive of a RIU where you do not exist.

I have a 1989 Jeep Comanche 4WD, long (7 ft.) bed, 4 liter bulletproof engine. I no longer take it exploring, but I'll die with it. I cannot find anything comparable. 165K miles.
