I need a pre-made grow box/ case. I'm new at growing and need something with everything included. Fans, lighting, etc. Don't have time to build my own. I'm leaning towards a pre made pc case, but maybe there's something better. Want some somewhat small, maybe 2x2. Between a 100 and 400 dollar price range. Any suggestions?
dude if u have time to get online, research what your looking for & u have the time to grow plants then u have an hour out ur day to build a simple setup! do this... get a giant moving box, cover all 4 walls with a reflective material such as tin foil or even better use mylar/foilon. leave the top uncovered.. buy a few alluminum clamp on shop light fixtures, spiral compact flourescent light bulbs, a 10" room fan... and theres your set-up, probably in less than an hour if you move quick! make sure u get a timer and also a thermometer w/ hygrometer. everything will cost you practically nothing!
giant cardboard moving box = $5
spiral cfl light bulbs = $4 each
alluminum clamp-on light fixtures = $7 each
tin foil = $2
10" room fan = $15
timer = $10
thermometer w/ hygrometer = $15
grand total = $58
hope that helps, simple.. cheap and most importantly EFFECTIVE!
use mostly 23watt(100watt equiv.) Daylight(6500K) spiral cfl bulbs with a few 23watt(100watt equiv.) Warm White(2700K) spiral cfl bulbs to balance out the light spectrum in veg. set-up the bvulbs in the opposite manner for your flower room.
vegging requires mostly blue spectrum of light on an 18 hours light/6 hours of darkness since it imitates the color of the sun as well as imitating the same light schedule as the sun during the spring/summer months when maryjane vegitates. this blue spectrum is achieved with Daylight(6500K) spiral bulbs
flowering requires mostly red/orange spectrum of light on a 12 hours light/12 hours of darkness since this imitates the color of the sun as well as imitating the same light schedule as the sun during the fall/winter months when maryjane flowers(buds). this red/orange spectrum is achieved with Warm White(2700K) spiral bulbs
hope that helps ya, good luck!
