Need advice from the Pro's

The quality of bud in my part of the world in a word, sucks!! I had to tap into my kush stash that I keep on ice for dry spells, but now it's just about gone. I've been cruising many forums lately, hoping to get some good pointers for my first grow. There is a lot bad info floating in cyber-cannabis-space, which brings me to this forum. You guys seem to know your shit and I need your help, so here we go!! I plan to convert my wooden storage cab into a stealth box (h-60in. x w-40in x d-20in.) for soil grow. I'd like to start off small scale with only 3 or 4 plants. I'm not trying to spawn monster bud yields, just a enough for personal satisfaction. My questions are as follows:
I have a 250w hps. is that enough wattage for my set-up and can I veg and flower with this light?
What part of the grow stage does humidity become an issue?
What is the easiest indica/sativa mix strain to grow for a noobie?

that 250 might cover the depth of your box but i doubt its gonna cover s 40" width. You might wanna buy a second 250 and then I think you would be golden. Or if your short on cash maybe add a shitload of cfl's.

That 250 watt hps is perfect for 3-4 plants, and for your grow area it should be fine as long as you keep the heat to a minimum. Also you'll need to keep in mind the plant will get be about 3 feet by the end of flowering. Just keep in mind to allow yourself room for the plant growing and also keeping the right amount of space in between the plant and the light, id hate to see you burn your plants up. good luck if you have an more questions feel free to ask. :blsmoke:

humidity can cause problems at all stages of a grow. high humidity is especially bad during the flowering stage as the buds are prone to get moldy and that will ruin your crop.

A 250w light is sufficient for 4 plants though you'll want to make sure you're able to raise and lower it. Keep it as close to the top of the plants as you can without burning them. And as TheGardenMan mentioned, keep an eye on how high they get - some plants can quadruple in size once you start flowering.

You should consider getting an MH bulb for vegging or supplementing with some CLFs.

I don't have a lot of different strain experience but i think any Indica-heavy hybrid designed for indoors would work out fine for you. You may want to consider using bag seed to work out all the kinks before using bought seeds.

also keep in mind the following:
over-loving your plants can be fatal
patience is a virtue
most first grows fail
gardening should be pleasurable - not frustrating!

read, research and happy growing!

I don't have any experience with it but they say that the lowryder strains are bred for just your type of grow. And if you have the means, you might want to get some more light in the box. I agree with the CFL suggestion. It can give you more light but won't run your temps up to much more.

Thanks for the info guys!! I'll veg with the cfl's since I can't spring for another hps at the moment. The grow vids were awsome!! Thanks!!
