What's in said nutrients? What do other people on here use for good results? Have you tried the search function? With good genetics from reputable source it's down to the growers skill and understanding.

Main thing for taste and smell is sufficient amount of sulfur in the plant food. That's what's commonly lacking in many of the plant foods available on the market.
I looked up the Emerald Harvest line he referred to it has .5% to 1% Sulfur

Get 6 regulars and do an open pollination table your first run. Then start your batches. This strain by DNA Genetics (Reserva Privada) is well worked. It smells good, smokes great and you should find a keeper. All you need to do is cure a little better. However I fuck my curing up and my weed still mostly smells ok. So a lot of it is strain dependent. As long as RP hasn't changed their genetics you should find something good. It's not the new hotness but its a good strain to learn on.
thanks for the help. i been looking at DNA. Holy Grail kush or 24k? any opinions?

The stinkiest/ tastiest strain I have ever grown was THseeds Kushage but the yield sucked. Next would be Glueberry OG from Dutch Passion. It yielded well but Ive since lost her. Ive grown Females WW x BB, BCBD purps and sweet tooth Nirvana AK48 and Bubblecious. Im starting over from scratch with some beans i popped 2 weeks ago. Some of my research leads me to think Id be better off sourcing some proven clones vs small scale pheno hunting. Im a commercial grower so I need the best possible buds as quickly as possible and Ive never grown from clones.

I know that seems like a long hot dry but the hygrometer in the buckets usually reads 62ish. Ive even seen 65% after 2 weeks.I also dry in the same grow space but in a seperate tent.

mostly gets referred to as "cracked out" . its good bud with a strong buzz but i cant seem to match the taste and smell of the bud i can buy. And I live in prohibition land so all we got is black market.

Its less than a days drive to Maine and Im seriously considering a drive after this last round of poor germination of my hundred dollar seeds
I'm not proclaiming myself as a pro, lol, but does it ever smell? Does it at least smell close to harvest?

Making sure they have enough sulfur really does seem to make a difference too, as does making sure it has all the nutrients it needs. Healthy, happy plants are stinkier.

I love clone only strains, but not all strains are gonna be super stinky.

I linked to Kosher Kush because that is the strain I have a lot of experience with and why I recommended it. I had a keeper in one of my rooms for years. She was very good. When I lost her it only took 10 seeds to find her again.
