Ok so here is the plants history:

Using CFL lights, 6 2700k and 6 6400k.....they are 24 and 40 watt I believe each. Temps in closet are 84 at peak and 74 at night. I have fresh air coming in and no light leaks.

May 1st- planted from seed
May 31st- switched to 12/12

This was 1 of 4 plants that I started growing and the only one to live.

I had some bugs which I made another post about, that started showing up in the soil around 2 weeks in. I gave plants treatment of Ivory soap/veg oil for a week and this was the only plant to "survive" that treatment...it did seem to kill off most of the bugs, I have been checking and I only see 1 now and then.....instead of tons of them like before. I tried to ID the bugs but couldn't tell.....check my other posts for pics etc on that story.

What is happening now is the plant really has slowed growth since then, so much so that I barely notice any at all. After the bug treatments, I transplanted to a bigger pot and flushed with water a few days later....just to make sure the soap/oil mixture wasn't causing any problems. That was 5 days ago........

So here are the questions......can you tell if its male or female yet?
It's been in 12/12 for 18 days now.

Secondly, what would cause the growth rate to stop? Everything I read says the plant will double or triple their size during flowering which is why I choose to flower so early, I don't want a huge plant but this guy seems to not be growing anymore at all and I am worried it is to small or something is wrong.

Any advice on where to go from here? Start over? Flush? Feed? etc etc....this is my second attempt at growing....first one didn't go so good.

female for sure! Plant may be stunted from transfer and could use more light and change to 18/6 for a month or so then switch back to flower. Also your plant's energy is going toward nugget growth so with the light change the plant will veg and focus on new growth. Will help with size, good luck.

How do you know its a female? I am worried that bump in the first pick looks like it might be a sack!!

Anyone else?

you could clone it and send the cole back into vegg
then when it getts bigger
take clones from it
then vegg all them out , then flower it all out
...see by this plant being female if you clone all of the clones will be females
but this would take more space to do this

That is definitely a naughty little frustrated girl. Like others said, I would send it back into veg. for a few weeks until it is more mature with a good dose of light (all 6400k) on a 18/6 or 24/0 schedule. It is fairly immature to be taking cuttings from at this point. This plant may take up to 3 weeks to reverse back into full-veg. then, take several cuttings and follow the guides for good quality clones. Keep her as a mother or finish her along with the clones through flower on a 12/12. Have patience and you would be could rewarded with a much much higher yield.

those white hairs indicate a female plant. Those are pistils that are telling you she's ready for flower, the male would be little clusters of balls.

Ok thanks guys, I think I will keep her flowering and just give her a nice dose of nutes. I may have been to stingy on them considering how fast she grew early....plus I have some red/purple on a few of the branches which means nute deficiency from what I have read.....

I don't wana bother with reveggeing at this point I will see what happens, only my 2nd grow so I will be happy if I get even a little product!

Shes flowering along, growth hasn't really changed though.

I am seeing some yellow/brown spotting that started on the lower fan leaves and is spreading up. I did give her some nutes since the last post but not enough to burn her....if anything I think it may be a deficency of some sort....as for the growing.....

I did a PH test of my soil and its 7.5...I think this might be the problem and would like to try and lower it.....to 6 or so.....

Any advice on how to lower the soil ph?
