Need advice on a plant outgrowing the room

I have a flowering plant that is six feet tall and is growing past the top of the light reflector, which is as high as it gets. It seems to be sativa-dominant, and I'm hoping someone could suggest a way to tie it down without breaking it? Thanks.

The only way would be to gradually bend it down instead of bending it all at once

Thanks, I was thinking of screwing a hook to the floor and gently bending it into an upside down "U" (after it has used up most of the water.)

Super crop the highest tops and give the others a chance to catch up, get a heat shield or an air cooled reflector ad drop your light to keep your plants smaller and denser in the future.

Just my 2 cents.

rawr i had this problem started burning bud , in the end i ended up just chopping the top of the plant off , bud was shit from burns and it was blocking light i removed about 10" off my plant after that the lower growth went mental got as big as the tops turned out a real nice plant.

what i did with my hydro set up---> they got too tall. i grabbed a rock (about the size of my fist), tied some thin rope around it, and tied the other end to the top (LOOSELY), like tie a loop at the other end with the top inside the loop. **dont actually tie a knot around it**, then put the rock to the side, so the plant goes diagonal a bit, dont bend the plant, just give it a 'lean', a couple of days later, tighten the rope a bit, youll notice the side branches turning upwards on their own (thats good = more yield) i ended up with 5 big ass plants all leaning over and their branches going straight up.

the only other thing to make sure is that they are getting ZERO light during flowering dark periods.

When plants go mental, we all win. lol my method kinda does this too, gets the main stalk outa the way, and the other branches get more light. im not a cutter tho.
