need advice on basment grow

ok so im going to grow weed in my bassment it is a pretty decent size.
i already have one 400ww light from a closet grow
my budget is around 1000 us 500-600 pounds
so my question is what lights and seeds should i buy for maximum return

and what would the best method be thanks.
 
Do some reading on here, use the search feature.. But I'd suggest 600w HPS/MH lamps and a Soil grow, with some basic nutrients such as the Fox Farm trio pack for a complete beginner..
 
As for light, the more the better. As for the best seed for max yield, what is the brightest star in the sky? Sorry, don't mean to be a smart ass. There are just so many to choose from. However, I would try Northern Lights Big Bud. Very easy for beginners, resistant to molds and pests. I use the single seed center seed bank. They have litterally 1000's of choices and you can pick and choose what you want instead of buying a pack of 5 or 10 of the same strain. Good Luck and +Rep for taking the leap into farming.
